unfortunately there are still many who repeat that mistake even though they have experienced this mistake in the past because it is true what you say that all of that will be defeated by greed. although a gambler who has started to learn from experience to improve in the future when one day gets a winning streak will change his mindset and ignore the lesson and repeat his mistakes even more to continue betting.

as bettors, we must always be smart about learning how gambling works to continue to think positively, not worrying too much about big wins.

Learning from our mistakes is not as easy as some might think, there is a reason we make those mistakes to begin with, and unless we do some heavy introspection about why this is the case then when presented with the opportunity we will make the same mistakes all over again, this is why we see a person suffering an awful hangover and swearing they will never drink again and then a week later we see them making that promise again, and the higher the frequency of this pattern then it becomes less likely for anyone to ever change and correct those mistakes.

Great comparison, there's a reason behind that mistake and without doing good adjustments chances that you may do the same mistake over and over can happen to you, you need to re-assess and take time to cooldown if you suffer from a loss or losses that you may avoid if you didn't make mistake, or something that prevents you to win, there are times that you are ready to go all in but you change your mind and the outcome happens that it's a win.

Regret is there and aggressions can bring you that pressure to re-try, but things did not favor you and you losses your pick, additional frustration that can be avoided if you did not follow that emotion inside you.
