Haaland was not able to perform so well due to the lack of good pass toward him. There might be someone who will supply the ball for him. Haaland was rarely getting the ball. It was also impacting his performance in the match against newcastle.

There will always be some people that dislike certain players and that's normal, you can't expect everyone to like one player, that can't happen. Haaland scored a lot of goals last year, but on the last games he failed to score as we all know, the main reason for that was the simple fact that he was man marked tightly, which allowed others to score instead.

Even when City was beating Real 4-0, Rudiger was on Haaland like a flea and he didn2t leave him, which means that other 4 goals happened very easily considering Rudiger couldn't defend anyone else.
