Erik Ten Hag is different, for if you have seen Erik Ten Hag manage Ajax against Real Madrid and other clubs in the Champions League, you won't be saying this. Erik Ten Hag just needs a proper defensive midfielder and new set of defenders.

In fact, Manchester United is still a better team than other mid-table teams like Aston Villa. Manchester United's performance has of course never been the same as when they were managed by Sir Alex Ferguson, but this team is a better team than Aston Villa until now. Moreover, the Premier League has not yet closed the first half of this season so there are many changes that can still be expected from the performance of each team.

Manchester United are not as good as before, but they have good squad depth to compete in the Champions League zone. Anything is still possible because the season is still long and of course some new players can be expected to spark more good performances this season.
