It seems to me that it is too early to say that Girona can win La Liga, precisely because their rivals are Real Madrid and Barcelona. These teams have much greater capabilities, a deeper bench and much greater financial resources. I believe that we are going to see them end up losing points a lot, just like how Tottenham was leading EPL for a while and everyone was shocked but look at them now, they may lose another and get out of top 5, just a few losses in a row causes a huge drop when you are at the top.
Griona looks like the type of team that may have a few losses in a row, it wouldn't really shock anyone, they are not much better than everyone else, and just because they are at the top now, doesn't change their talent level. I believe they are going to end up dropping soon.
