On paper Barcelona is the favorite team to win their home match against Valencia. H2H proves that Barcelona has won 15 matches out of a total of 25 matches against Valencia at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, while Valencia only won 4 matches and the remaining 6 were draws.

Barcelona won 3/4 of their home matches against Valencia in La Liga competition, 1 of which was a draw. So it makes sense to say Barcelona is the favorite to win the home game even if Barcelona loses 3-2 in the El Clasico match against Real Madrid. Barcelona has a lot more to prove than Valencia, but in football surprises in a match can always be expected. But I wonder why so many people expect Barcelona to lose to Valencia and are rooting for Girona to finish second instead of Barcelona?

For now we will tend to see Barcelona get the victory in this again, however, the eyes should not be blind in seeing the match in terms of the maturity of the team, it will make us forget that Valencia generally has a fairly far difference with Barcelona, H2H history indeed we cannot deny that Barcelona is much better, honestly expecting Barcelona to lose to Valencia is a false hope.

Barcelona is stronger than Valencia, and I don't see how it will be possible for Valencia to win Barcelona, who lost their last match and they are not happy with that defeat. Also if Barcelona did not win this match, they know that Girona might take over the second position from them on the table. This is why it is a most for Barcelona to win Valencia. It will be an easy win for them.
