Every country has its own rules regarding gambling, Indonesia is not the only country that prohibits gambling so far and I don't think anyone needs to protest the government's decision about this. If you are not happy with the rules that prohibit you from doing this and that, then look for another country that gives you the freedom to do whatever you want, including being friendly about gambling.

This applies to any country you visit, not just gambling, Indonesia also regulates that Bitcoin and foreign currencies are prohibited from being legal means of payment. You must convert any currency to Indonesian fiat before you use it as a means of payment.
