If you say that Manchester united are slowly trying to get back then I will agree with you, but however they played against a team that is at the bottom of the table, we all expected a win that would be so easy, Southampton has been on losing spree so someone could easily predict the outcome, nevertheless that wasn't the outcome as Southampton took an early lead that would have made them go home with the 3 points, even at some point I nearly lost hope that Manchester united will come back into the game not until they eventually did, That's why they usually say that "in football is never really over until it's over", a minute can make tremendous changes and that was the Hallmark of that game last night.

Manchester United win wasn't something that they will be feeling very excited. If they had lost against the weakest team Southampton then they must be cursing themselves for that performance. Recently Brentford scored five goals against them, Manchester United only scored 3.  Infact Manuel Ugarte did an own goal and at one time Man. United were losing 0-1. Infact till the 80 minutes of the game, Man United were losing by one goal.

However, credit should be given to Amad Diallo as he scored thrice right at the end in this match and the scorecard looks good for Manchester United. I would still say they will have a hard time playing better teams.
Talking about performance Southampton are far the better side in that match obviously, United in the first half struggled to control the game, what we look at is the final result and Manchester had it to themselves. But I don't think any Manchester United fan will be so proud over the win against Southampton, and also I think Manchester United can keep this performance growing, if they do so I think they can compete for European league.
Winning matches is never easy expecially when all hope has been lost  and winning came at last under 12 minutes to the final whistle Manchester United scored 3 to end the game a 3-1 win over Southampton with this reason I believe Manchester United fans will be proud of the team no mater what circumstances the main point there is getting all 3 points at the end of the game so definitely Manchester United fans will be supper excited despite winning the weakest team in the English premier league this season so far the worst part would have been if they lost to Southampton but this one they won I think that's the most important thing in football winning games it doesn't matter how they struggle to play it.

Despite Manchester United winning also Manchester United also had more possession of the game with the highest number of goal attempt so I believe Manchester United fans will be very proud of their club and also very happy for Amad Diallo who gave Manchester United the winning.
As for the Manchester United encounter against Southampton, I feel more credit should also be given to Andre Onana too, the young man made some brilliant saves that allowed Manchester United to stay afloat before Amad Diallo's goals starting coming in, however it was one of the most surprising and iconic 12 minutes of play I've seen in football in recent years.
