Thank you for confirming in practice what I have been telling for years!
ledger n0n0X is probably one of the worst hardware wallets ever made, and it has several issues starting with poor batteries and bad quality control.
I would contact ledger, return this device and ask for a refund, than purchase alternative open source hardware wallet (trezor, passport, keystone, jade, etc.)
But I think it is to late for return after you opened this device and voided warranty.
