Exactly and it caught me by surprise, but I should've known better we're most likely the product with any platform that has freemium services ^{[I wish I could blame them]}.

Yes, as previously mentioned I tried with and without a VPN, but I kept hitting roadblocks... Having said that, after almost two days I managed to get in and give it a spin.

I agree with you... I wanted to see if it could be a better alternative to Blockchain Wallet ^{[for insignificant amounts]} and in some ways, I actually think it is, but it's still far from being a somewhat complete package ^{[e.g. no protective measures for taking screenshots of your seed phrase (important for newcomers)]}.
