The world today is money mindset everyone is looking for ways to get the best for themselves and live that stress and problem free lifestyle they want, yes no one wants to be poor and at such they tend to work harder and make alot of money to solve all needs so definitely I agree with you to have a mindset of being after money because the challenges people are facing right now sometimes they are unable to meet up to their standard therefore they lose alot even their loved ones due to the fact that money wasn't in the picture at that moment but what I can advise while having this mindset is to make good use of it when it comes and avoid careless spendings.

This is because living is a lot harder these days and even more expensive than the past. The difference is that, if we lived in a world where we are doing "okay", like we can afford for a basic life, then not this many people would want to get super wealthy, sure there are always people who want that, but there wouldn't be this much.

But because we are all poor, economy is a huge part of our life and that means we are ending with something much worse, and that is why we need to be careful about it as well. If we can do this, then things won't be all that easy. Hence, that difference causes a lot of people to just work for money and nothing else, nobody is happy with their financial world, and as long as this continues, we won't be doing fine.
