I agree with you that this season English Premier League has been very unpredictable. Even top four teams have had trouble playing well all the time. But Liverpool has been different they have played very well especially against Arsenal who many people thought would be best team this season. Fact is that Manchester City is not doing well this season has also made things more unpredictable. Even though teams in EPL are not getting as many points as they did in past I do not think other leagues should criticize EPL. The way EPL teams are doing in European competitions shows how strong league is and if they can keep doing well it will be good for league reputation.

I think this unexpected thing is what characterizes the English league. Because the competition in the English league is so tight, we as spectators have a hard time predicting which teams will occupy the top 4 positions in the English league. The proof is that a team like Nottingham never occurred to me to enter the top 4 in the English league. Because as we know in the previous season Nottingham's performance was bad and almost entered the relegation zone. But this season Nottingham has really become a dark horse team that is very difficult for the big teams in the English league. So I think this is what characterizes the English league. Because with very qualified teams, even big teams if their performance declines will not have the opportunity to be at the top.

Especially like this season, the big teams in the English league really can't be expected. Because Manchester City's performance is bad this season, then Manchester United has also clearly shown that their performance has not improved since last season.
