Haven't heard of that before neither have I seen such thing because as far as I know Bitcoin is not for the poor when I say poor I mean people who are struggling to survive in life, someone can not be struggling to feed and at same time investing they will be messed up and the investment will not last for long because if reach people are struggling to maintain their investment then how much more will someone that doesn't have the capacity will do and I think this is misinformation or maybe you didn't understand what they said clearly.

Black market traders who smuggle goods across borders accept Bitcoin transfers, making it easier for the poor to purchase commercial goods, creating job opportunities.
