Most times, you won't value the times we are in now till you eventually discover that we can't get down to this point ever again and you understand how much of a buying opportunity you have missed out just because of being skeptical on bitcoins ability to going even higher from this point. Buying when the market seems unfavorable is not always easy, especially if this is your first time getting started in your Bitcoin investment. it is not even about not having enough money to put into your investment; even with enough money, you have to have that strong belief in Bitcoin's ability to recover before you will be bold enough to keep buying during the DIP. Failing to buy when you are fortunate to experience the DIP will, in the long run, leave you with a mere wish that things go back to the way they were, but unfortunately, once bitcoin has gone above certain prices, it might never get back to that point again.

That if:
1. You have the patience to hold those Bitcoins especially when things go south and the worst thing happens - Bitcoin enters the bear market.
2. If you believe that Bitcoin will still go up after you buy.

If you're a believer of Bitcoin, this huge drop will be an advantage for you especially if you believe that it's price will go up to around $100,000 yet again. The problem is that, there are some who thinks that Bitcoin will continue to go down from here, and we will be entering the bear market season sooner than expected. I don't think that's the case right now, and I believe that we will see another surge towards the upside. As for what you said that Bitcoin will never loss it's value, it will if the price goes down.

At the end of the day, those who are brave enough to scoop up when many are fearful are the ones that will maximize the profit. Like Warren Buffett said, "Be greedy when others are fearful, and be fearful when others are greedy."

I agree with you. Old Bitcoin holders have seen this story and pattern over and over again; it's now more like a playlist to them. They're just waiting for the price to drop even more so they can buy and accumulate more. If you are talking about bitcoin in particular, I would say that investors haven't actually lost that much to because, if we are to consider the current all time high price of the crypto asset, it's current price is not that far from its previous all time, just a couple of tens of thousands of dollars, the difference in price between the current price of bitcoin and the all time high price isn't even up to $30,000.

But all the same, I understand that a price falling still means a loss to many, but with bitcoin though, holders don't lose until they finally sell, bitcoin is not like Altcoin where if price drops, there is a very high chance that the Altcoin will never reach that price again.

Talking about price falling, investors lost alot of money in Altcoin, many believed after bitcoin pump, Altcoins will follow, many invested heavily in Altcoin with hope of an altseason, but till now, Altcoins have kept losing value.

It's not right to say that Bitcoin will never lose its value, the future awaits us and we don't know what happens in the future, maybe there is a war and no one cares about Bitcoin anymore because people are striving to survive? I agree with that and that's what I do now. DCA is a safe and good strategy but if we protect a good balance and have a better portion of investing more during dip and investing less during rise, our profit will be high compared to traditional DCA strategies but you need luck and skills to predict right times, which also can be hard for lots of people.

The way the market works is like that, every time there is a decline, there will definitely be an increase afterward. This is where we have to be smart in taking advantage of opportunities, the advantage of buying when the price drops will certainly be a good strategy because we get a cheap price or many people say taking advantage of the discount price. Especially if you have a larger reserve fund, this is a big advantage because you can get more bitcoins.

The point is, in investing in bitcoin, it's a good idea to use the DCA strategy but also include technical analysis and see the Bitcoin trend. For example, if the price of Bitcoin is already high, then maybe dca can be done with a small fund, and if it turns out that the price of Bitcoin drops again, then we can dca with a larger amount so that we can get more Bitcoin at a cheap price. Many people don't understand one very simple concept: you only lose when you sell. That's it.
