Totally unpleasant specially if a certain holiday or even into events like birthdays or even on anniversaries on which you cant be able to have that kind of dayoff but since we are talking about legal holidays then usually government agencies doesnt really have that work on which this is really that part of their contract and thats really that good for its employee since its been paid but there were exemptions that you can be able to have duty but there are some mandatory but at least it is really that double pay. For private companies or businesses then as an employee then you wont really be having any option to deny or would refuse to have work because once that they've said that you do need to work then there's no way that you can be able to say no. If you are living on having a financial state on playing around being poor or average ones then you will be thankful about these holiday seasons since this will be able to make you earn even more and this is something that the reality that we are facing into.  Working on holidays does really sucks if you are someone who doesnt really like money or additional pay on which we know that there are people who do love to spend up their time into their family.  There are really people who do end up on having no choice but to deal up into the current situation that they are in and since finding up a job is never been easy then they wont really be having any choice or option but to work since they do need to earn money specially if you are a family guy or husband then you will be needing up to have such priority when it comes to earning.
It is unbeatable truth that many times when companies ask employees to work during holidays in exchange for double pay, the employees do not have the opportunity to say no. This happens especially in densely populated countries or populated areas. Again if the employees refuse to do all these tasks, it can be done through an open contractual circular. In this way those who are unemployed but educated and skilled will have some employment opportunities. Besides those who want to spend time with their families will be able to spend that time peacefully during the holidays. Again, those who work in that department but have a high demand for money can get a work contract through that open appointment letter and they can be given priority for that work. Then I think this problem can be solved.
Totally we can be able to say that this will be that situational because on the moment or time that you do deal up with something then you would be needing to reassess on what are the conditions that you are dealing on with. You cant just that needing up to choose up on something that will compromise your earning and since not all do live in a condition on which money isnt that a problem, then we wont be having any choice but to choose up on which do need up to work despite of those holiday season because we've been expecting more pay with it. For those who dont mind much about earning money because they are earning sufficient from other sources then they wouldnt be that mindful much if they will be working or not. There are some instances that you dont have any choice but to work because its part of your contract. Lets say that you dont wanna work because you dont like those terms but since you had made out some sign of contract in regarding about your duties and responsibility then you dont have any  choice but to get in line with it. On a holiday season then its important to spend up some time with your family because these are the times that you are vacant specially if you are a busy person. Spending up quality time with them is the most important thing for a family man. Although, there are those choices on which it do leads up that we dont have any choice because of such common reason.
