If you follow risk management and as you say do not bet more than the cost of one cup of coffee, then your chances of losing all your money are minimal. Yeah, that's small amount and it will not lead to gambling addiction. We can easily move on from it and forget how much we lost. Now, if we keep on depositing even small amounts, that's when the problem begins. I can say that from experience because I have been depositing $2 and betting for the minimum amount which is $0.02 or maybe less. I can lose like $30 in just hours of playing because I kept on chasing my losses.

So, the cost of a cup of coffee can actually hurt us if we are not responsible enough to stop whenever we lose the initial amount. There's must be strict discipline so that it won't ruin our budget.
