Between wanting, then trying to get it and actually getting it are big differences. Now with 32 matches, playing one more match than other competitors for a fourth position, AC Milan have 51 points, and Bologna have 57 points (6 points more than AC Milan) and below Bologna, there are some clubs like Juventus, Lazio, AS Roma and Fiorentina. You can count and see that there are 5 clubs for AC Milan to beat and get the fourth position, and after this week, Serie A will have only 6 more match days.

Time is no longer on AC Milan side and we also know that AC Milan don't have good consistent performances in this season.
