It doesn’t really matter the nature of the market, whether on a pump or bearish cycle before your can do your own research on an altcoin or how they get to perform. As long as it is even a memecoin, you should be very careful of them during the bearish period, because they easily follow the condition of the market to make decisions on the direction they will take.

When in the bullish period, little or no research can still get you some good amount if you invest in them because they’ll follow on the direction of the market immediately and earn you good profits quickly. Research is good before investment, but mostly memecoins do not need much research on them before investing for a short period when the market is in the bull period. This is why most projects prefer to list when the market is bullish and not on a bearish trend.
