I just wonder what would be the relation between martingale strategy and your favourite team/player? I guess, it would be somehow meaningful if you go for martingale with a stronger team still for a stronger side, I believe no strategy is required as you may win at your first bet itself. Anyhow, I guess martingale may help you better going along with stronger team as any team may fail at any time but not at all the times; for such a scenario, I guess martingale must be a perfect strategy.

Martingale may work if you have enough bankroll, otherwise you will feel like quitting just after the first failure would be a better decision rather than going for recovery.

Accepting loss is just antonymous of Martingale.
