That's true it's better that you secure your seed phrase by writing it down on a safe piece of paper which you have to keep in a safe place rather than memorizing it because the the truth is that the human brain is a very busy place so mistakes is an inevitable part of life while it's good to memorizing it let take extra measures in making sure that we protect our seed phrase

No matter what happens I'll always recommend backing up your seed phrase manually.

The memorized can have a brain damage either from an accident or another way and simply misplace those words arrangement, the memorize can also loss his live and that means the whole asset is gone. So there is nothing wrong about memorizing the seedphrase but there is nothing better than still having the words written down and stored in secure places.
