is buying the dip all about making short time profit? as far as i know, buying bitcoin dip and Hodl is for long term profit an not buying at $102.3k and selling maybe at $103k at current rate or maybe at $108K. this statement does not portray the real meaning of buying the dip and hodling but of course trading. but even is you decide to sell of course i am not against it since bitcoin investment is an individual journey and everyone is oblique to sell at will including short time interval.

I guess depends on their intention since if they wait for them then sell it when market goes pump then they are lucky if they can secure their profit on their desired target.

But that situation does not always happening. Market is unpredictable and we don't know what's going to happen next. There are situation that we thought that's already the dip that we are waiting for, but suddenly the market continue to decline this situation cause panic to those people trade for short term and it cause losses.

With those situation they better buy at whatever price shown if they are targeting to buy and hold for long term. Because waiting for dip will just give them some stress because market is so volatile and unpredictable.
