I'm hoping for apple and google to at least buy some small portion to it. If they did, it's gonna be a huge noise and could be another trend that will lead to upward and make another new bottom. Would Apple or Google buy Bitcoin? Yeah, it would give the news cycle a boost. Price would jump. Everybody would rush to a new "bottom". But why would they? The level of control they have at present (regulatory insulation, network effects, algorithmic power) is so much greater than what holding Bitcoin gives you. Bitcoin is free tech. Apple and Google are control tech. Do not suppose that those worlds want to merge when their business models are antigravity

Nevertheless, I am not killing your dream. When they buy, the signal is fantastic: legitimacy explodes, regulation reboots, new capital pours in. Yet, do not be expect the rules will remain the same. These are long-term companies. They may purchase Bitcoin to control it, sandbox it, perhaps even neuter its potential. Security and legitimacy? Maybe. Or perhaps a new variant of walled garden. Are we prepared to do that, or are we simply hungry for approval by the grown-ups in tech?
