Based on the rumors that is surrounding the movement of Victor Osimhen to another club, I think his former club Napoli still has a hand in what has been delaying his transfer because of the buy back clause that is in his contract. Arsenal and Chelsea would have been a good place for the striker if you ask me but the teams are not willing meet up to his wages and it has affected the completion of the deal, Liverpool has shown no interest in him so I don't think he would be joining them anytime.
Since Osimhen was reported to have personal problems with Napoli, Osimhen has actually been widely reported to be brought in by other big teams, but the only problem is Osimhen's release clause which is really quite high. This is the main obstacle for Osimhen to be able to get a contract with a new team. So I think if Napoli doesn't immediately lower the price of the clause owned by Osimhen, I think the teams interested in recruiting Osimhen will back down. Because even though big teams like Arsenal or Chelsea, I think they will also think twice if they have to pay the expensive release clause. Although it is true that Osimhen is a pretty great player, I don't think it's worth the high price.
So with that, I think until Osimhen's contract runs out at Napoli he won't be able to move to a new team, unless there is a team that is willing to pay his high clause. Therefore, for the teams that are eyeing Osimhen, I think they have to be patient until next season. Because as far as I know Osimhen only has one more season of contract at Napoli and with his current situation, I am sure Napoli will not give a contract extension. In addition, if given a contract extension, I think Osimhen will reject it. Because as we know, Napoli's relationship with Osimhen is not good at the moment. So with this, Arsenal or Chelsea must be ready to be able to bring in Osimhen next season.
