(i.e feeling discourage simply because you thought you are not making quality post to get enough merits to rank up)  Or Do you mean Bitcoin in general as a decentralized digital currency? Because if you actually meant Bitcoin in general as a decentralized digital currency, then I absolutely see no reason why building a portfolio has to do with making quality posts. Because building a portfolio as regards to Bitcoin simply means the process of investing in it bit by bit, which could be either through the means of Dollar Cost Averaging method or any other. Because on the contrary, there is a huge difference between "Bitcoin" and "Bitcointalk". Because while Bitcoin is the digital currency, Bitcointalk on the other hand the online forum where discussions regarding Bitcoin is been made.

I keep saying it that anyone who ventures into bitcoin investment with the mindset of making a quick profit is not an investor, but a trader. Bitcoin investment is a long term investment and whoever wants to venture into it must have the long term goal of investing and hold for the long term and not trading for a short quick profit or panicking whenever you notice a little downturn in the market.

What i understand about those newbies that still have patience in building up their Bitcoin portfolio are those newbies that have has seen the benefits of Bitcoin from there friends or relatives and want to friends to educate them all about Bitcoin for them to be like them, so newbies will heardly up to give up no matter how long it can take in building up Bitcoin portfolio the will still pushing consistently but those newbies that you as an investor already talk them into, many of those newbies end up giving up because they think bitcoin is what you can go into today and tomorrow you will making profit out of it, such newbies will end up to continuing in  building up their Bitcoin portfolio but this thread is being created to all newbies to see reasons never to give up soon but have the enough patients to learn more about Bitcoin on how it works deeply and keep pushing because not good comes easily but keep pushing no matter what.

Definitely building up a good portfolio in bitcoin requires patience and the ability to take risk. My advice to newbies is always to start investing in bitcoin only when they have discretionary income to invest with so that they can be able to hold for long term since they are in for short term profit. Investing money that is meant for other expenses and not having an emergency funds is one of the primary reasons why most newbies fail to build a good portfolio in bitcoin. Whenever there is a decline or an unplanned event occurs they will be forced to sell there bitcoin sometimes at loss there by impending then from building up a good portfolio in bitcoin.

First of all I don’t understand why there should even be a discussion of newbies taking patience in building their portfolio, personally I think this is an issue of finance and everyone is actually having different weights of money so why race in competition with others. Bitcoin isn’t a get rich quick scheme and any investor rushing into bitcoin for this are usually setup for losses, Most at times why newbies go through this route is because of the narrative they build up while coming to the space, there is always this so called influencers giving this bad narrative.

For me my first advice to anyone investing into bitcoin is that first treat it as a store of value, bring in the money you are wishing to save for a very long time into it, the profits are just added advantages you get for been patience, coming into it with profit mindset will only lead one to invest what that cannot afford to lose

I think with much that are already happening today most newbies have failed to understand the importance of patience and persistence pulse i most say when building an bitcoin portfolio it takes time which requires effort, hardship, rather than seeking quick making profits, but on a second through this day's newbies investor really are getting discouraged by this setbacks or some comparisons to others, i think by adopting this mindset if some new investor can navigate the challenges of building a bitcoin portfolio it would  increase thier chances of becoming successful, i most really say your message really should encourage newbies to stay committed pulse keep pushing forward even in the face of difficulties.

What i usually tell folk is that always remember why you started accumulating the first place . Then start planning properly , is not has difficult as how some folk picture it to be , Aslong you keep to the right principles like accumulating with your discretionary income , anytime you don’t have any to spare don’t push it , just wait till you have any to spend.
