Because what does a player get when he signs a contract with Manchester United? Nothing but uncertainty and they don't play in the UCL. A top player can usually choose from a number of clubs and in a last resort Osimhen could always decide to lower his salary requirements and still go to one of the best clubs and play in the UCL.

Osimhen is about to enter his late 20s at the end of this year and signing a contract with Manchester would mean that he could end up not playing in the UCL for years. He can as well stay in Turkey, play for Galatasaray, play the UCL and make good money.

It is still up to him. He's got the quality and he is still in his prime.
