Cristhian Mosquera would be a competitor to William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes. He is young and versatile since he could play as a centre-back and right-back. With the termination of the contract of Takehiro Tomiyasu, the Gunners made the right choice to sign another defender. Arsenal have been very busy in this transfer window as they have signed Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard from and Kepa Arrizabalaga. Mosquera had a good season with Valencia where he played in all the games.

This is the kind of player Arteta love to have on his team, someone who can play any position especially this very player that can play as a CB and as a RB and the player has it all and again I'm having this feeling that either Gabriel or Saliba might leave the club, I'm just saying because the way Madrid has been eyeing the two CB back or one of them as of January, is something that might come as a surprise since they that's Madrid are having issues with their defenders but I hope is just me seeing things differently.
Indeed the Gunners have been busy but I feel they have been doing well in the transfer window for just few players, only if this Gyökeres deal pulls through that alone will give many of the fans enough joy. Well, I'd still applaud the Gunners if they finally gets him.
