Not only Nigeria though, fiat system in general is collapsing slowly even the mighty dollar but in the scope "Naira" anyways yes!, Bitcoin could be beneficial for people to preserve their wealth along run but the problem is most Nigerians still believe the space is scam due to past experience and exposure ( for some people) this could be a setback for Bitcoin in Nigeria though.

The fiat sytem is collapsing because many people has now refused to put their money doing nothing in the bank just for them to be given the worst interest by the benefiting banks, you people are now wise, since many individuals across the globe have now understand Bitcoin investment and the value in a long-term, individuals prefer pulling their fiat out those banks to invest them in Bitcoin knowing fully well that in the future their will likely be a profit far better than the interest they receive from banks, although the truth is that there's no way people will pull all there money from banks, fiat can't fade out totally because they have their own functions I think have said this. Before.

As for some Nigerians having the mindset that the space is full with scam or fraudulent activity I think they are generalizing things because of either ignorance or lack of understanding, yea don't may cause discouragement among individuals that want to invest in Bitcoin but I still think that such will only be for those that are really ready to make good inquiry about the whole thing before coming to conclusions.
