Medically it's unwise and unhealthy to eat less and smoke more expecially as a young dude who is fighting to keep fitness. Excessive  smoking will get you tired quick when doing your push up exercise, i will advise you eat more of healthy food including fruits too and smoke less if you are addicted to smoking.

I don't think he's really serious about this. To make progress, you need to get enough protein and vitamins. Smoking does nothing but harm. If he's smoking cigarettes, that's the worst. It's a loss both financially and health-wise. I can't understand how people still smoke. Anyone who's committed to a healthy lifestyle wouldn't understand it either.

You're very correct. I couldn't believe I read him boast of eating less and smoking more. That's a wacky way of life  at last. Everyone has some habits that may not be very healthy, but it's scary to be proud of a completely unhealthy lifestyle. Maybe he only posts for fun though. Excessive smoking without good nutrition would expose your body system to immune compromise and sets you up for disease attacks.

I don't necessarily mind that guys might have bad and/or contradictory habits such as bad eating, something like smoking and/or drinking or maybe other ways that they are not treating themselves, even if they might be doing pushups at the same time to attempt to off-set some of their potentially bad habits, yet it can be hard to treat some  of these guys seriously when they are presenting some of their talking points in trollish kinds of ways, just seeming to want to provoke some of us and/or to get attention.

Nothing wrong with having fun and joking, but some of the ways of going about it are not necessarily appreciated.

For a good number of us, it has been a lot of work to get to whatever place that we have gotten in our pushups and our choices to document aspects of that in this thread, and the dilemmas do not necessarily end in terms of keeping up our daily practices (or whatever time periods guys have chosen to carry out their pushups).
Yeah sure, it takes a lot of periods of work and dedication to attain half the level most of you guys have gone and I personally find it offensive reading any post that undermines those years of hard labour. Publicizing unhealthy lifestyle is just another such behaviour but I believe he has taken his corrections. Some  examples and advocacies you (JJG) have taught is glaring and anyone who truly wish to participate in pushups exercise would always know the right thing to do.
