But when you cash out and it still wins? That’s where the real regret kicks in.
Which is more regrettable: not cashing out and having the bet lose anyway? That’s even more regrettable.

If you can win or lose that kind of amount you cashed out regularly, then I don’t think it should be something to regret.

Let’s say the cash-out offer is $100, but you have the potential to win $1,000 if you don’t take it. For me, I’d let the game finish since the outcome is still uncertain anyway, and I’d go for the $1,000. I can live with losing $100, but letting a $1,000 chance slip away? That’s not something I could easily pass on. That’s my mindset as a gambler.
Well, there's nothing wrong with your decision, that's your strategy.
If you occasionally place parlays in hopes of a life-changing payout while keeping losses manageable and controlled, that can be a reasonable entertainment choice as long as it fits within your budget and isn't used to solve problems.

We know gamblers are always on the lookout for an opportunity when their luck strikes.
If you believe that the amount you wager on a parlay is what you can afford, and instead of cashing it out, you enjoy your earnings while continuing to gamble in hopes of a big payout, that can lead to issues.
