I didn't watch this match but I knew Liverpool wouldn't win easily so I just bet on Liverpool in the first half and yeah it works. You know somehow Liverpool can't be relied on in competitions like this their performance declined drastically but the situation is different if it is an EPL or UCL match. For next season I still believe that Liverpool will be one of the contenders to win the title the result of today's match will have no impact, imo.

In a match like this, I'm not surprised that the club considered the favorite loses. Many people, especially bettors, support Liverpool, but the final result certainly doesn't live up to expectations. It reminds me of the Club World Cup between Chelsea and PSG, where many favored PSG, but the outcome was quite surprising.

Yes, in competitions like this, big clubs aren't particularly ambitious about winning trophies, but in the Champions League and Premier League, Liverpool will be determined to compete for those trophies.
