With how it goes nowadays, most people will not just spend the Bitcoin that they own because whether we like it or not, the majority holds Bitcoin because it's treated as an investment, a store of value and that's why we like to hold it. While no one is stopping us from using it as an actual payment, even in the forum, it's used as payment for campaigns and other services. So, with that usage, we can see that it's being utilized well and all of us are using it the way it's designed but we're choosing what we think is beneficial for us since it's got a limited supply which makes it more valuable in the near future.

It is actually used quite a lot as currency too, it's just that the number is so tiny compared to amount we invest, people think we do not use it. When you have trillions go into bitcoin, then just a few ten billion spent on each other, like a currency, looks tiny.

It is something we have to accept, bitcoin became a currency and we have to accept that, it is not going to change anytime soon. We are going to face this as a reality and we can't really consider it changing any other way. I know this will not be that complicated, for a while we are going to realize this is okay, but we have to accept it the way it is at the moment and not focus on anything else. If we do that, then we are going to see this changing for the long term.
