Wilson said the pocket tournament will get him acclimated to being a head coach following his appointment in the spot previously held by Jamike Jarin, who has become the team consultant.

Wow, another product of Gin kings just curios is Phoenix already handled by boss Al now? just kidding, but it's good to see that a new headcoach will display his coaching capabilities, I knew Willy since his LaSalle days he's a good role players who can bring impacts on both offense and defensive side, if he can turned his players to become a two-way players we might seen good improvement for this team, not an easy track to move forward but let see if what would be the impact of having a new mentor.

He also played with Ginebra before, but he actually retired with Phoenix Fuel Masters. Now it’s good to see him finally get his own team as head coach. Honestly, I thought they were gonna replace the coach, but instead he got promoted, shows they’re really valuing the people inside the team. Lets hope they will be a playoff team in the coming season.

Aside from a new coach, they also needed to have new sets of stars, the current lineup might have difficulty beating those known dominating teams inside PBA, it's going to be a tough competition if they just replaced the coach but did not add any valuable players, we all know how both MVP and SMC dominates the league of Phoenix wanted to compete then they need to invest with good sets of players.
