It was truly a great innings from Australia. Only four batsmen scored 430+ runs on the scoreboard. Three of the top order batsmen scored centuries and the fourth batsman would have scored a century if the over had not ended. Australia performed well under pressure and this match may be the biggest proof of that. Australia lost the series to South Africa by a big margin in the first two matches, and similarly, if Australia had lost the third match against South Africa, then they would have been whitewashed against South Africa. Only to avoid the shame of this whitewash, they batted so aggressively in the first innings and scored 430+. Seeing the batting of these two, green and head, it seemed that they were not playing an ODI match but they were playing a T20 match. Many congratulations to Team Australia for giving such an innings after a long time.
Today we saw brutal Aussies, who have the capability to destroy any team anywhere. South African bowlers were helpless in stopping Aussies from playing big shots. Aussies just lost 2 wickets and finish 50 overs with 431 runs on the board. After Aussie batsmen, their bowlers destroyed South Africa batting in just 24.5 overs. Cooper Connolly bowled best spell of his career by picking 5 wickets in 6 overs. South Africa win the series but Australia by winning the last ODI by big margin destroyed their victory celebrations.

It is truly incredible that the Australian batsmen who were helpless against South Africa have performed brilliantly in today's match. If anyone performs like that in ODI cricket, then they will definitely have to accept defeat against them. Australia had a chance to win today's match but they will win in a way that was never expected. All the top three batsmen of Australia are scoring centuries. If there were overs, then Alex Carey, who was at number 4, would have been able to score a century.
