Gambling may not be a source of income in real sense which we advise that people shouldn't go into it with that kind of perception but alternatively it's actually relieving the lucky gamblers randomly when they make a win from their bets/stakes. A government that wants to ban gambling totally must have to balance things by making provisions of opportunities to make income from by her citizens else there might be opening another form of social vices to battle with.

You are right mate, gambling might not be a source of income because of the risk involved but randomly it has helped some people to have a life changing reward which would not have been possible without gambling. If the government provides a good opportunity for its citizens that most people in that country would not have to depend on gambling as a source of living, then they can ban gambling if they want which is still at their disadvantage because gamblers will still find ways to take part on illegal gambling.

It's true that gambling has helped gambler's who were lucky and fortunate as they have won millions which has changed the cause of their life's but one thing that we should not forget is that gambling has a lot of negative effects that is attached to it, so people should look beyond gambling if they are to have a successful life.
