Nothing we no go see for Nigeria. In those days when I was born, it is a normal thing to celebrate during end of year or during when una wan move to the next class.
This generation wey we dey now just dey up side down. How primary children wan take enjoy their time in primary schools if there is nothing like graduation ceremony? How they wan take showcase their talents? To me, wetin those two governors do no make sense. I taught in a private school, so I no the joy wey children dey get when activities like this dey go on, and by right, is it not the responsibility of the parents to take good care of their children especially through education.
I still think it is good that children have these experience of graduation ceremony regardless.

Banning those activities entirely was really extreme because we grew up celebrating in school when ever we are moving to the next class and it made us really happy because that's the only time we can to dance and act our little dramas, I don't really blame the governor too much because our time and now isn't the same anymore, the amount of money school owners extort from us are way too much and it affects some parents when they fail to pay for their kids and we all know how disturbing kids can be when they know that they aren't taking part in a school play. Instead of banning the celebration entirely I think the governor should have just reduced the amount of money parents pay to school owners to suit us the parents.
