) but I don't think that DRK have an advantage on ANC.
DRK have been pre-mined (4500 first blocks with reward 500 DRK mined in less than 32 first hours). They are alleging that was because of problems with the difficulty readjustment but I really don't believe it.
DRK isn't open source. They are promising that they will open source in some months but... wait to see!
DRK last fork was a failure. Darksend and masternodes are not working at this time. Even when it will work, the anonimity and privacy of Darksend is controversal because of the masternodes (third-party) that every one can host and see all the transactions between sender and receiver. The masternode can also be hacked. You can already find a case of a masternode hacked resulting of a loose of 999DRK for the owner (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg6984042#msg6984042).
The quickly rise of DRK is only due by speculators that are only interested with benefits in fiat currency (or maybe BTC). No one is spending DRK to buy a service or a product. DRK is just another pump and dump coin. Large holders will take the benefits and leave when small sheeps loose her money.

DRK is now as evenly distributed as btc and ltc etc.

DRK is open source but darksend won't be for a few more weeks

darksend and masternodes are working. the masternode payment implementation was working after the planned hard fork but was attacked and the issues is now being dealt with and will be implemented on june 14th.

you would need to control 100% of the masternodes to effectively decode all darksend anonymity to btc levels.

The masternode can be hacked if you don't follow instructions and don't know what you are doing, as was the case with the 1 amateur guy who made several easily avoidable security mistakes as was documented. the other 300+ masternodes are fine.

when is zerocoin with the trustless rsa_ufo going to be implemented?
this is still not clear to me. when it is clear i will buy back all the anc i sold and more. if the devs would communicate more that would be great, some faith has already been lost though. another reason i sold was because i was never able to get my new wallet to sync after the i2p/tor implementation. great idea but poor execution as i saw many had the same problem too.

Darksend and masternodes will be working on the next hard fork if there is not another attack or bug. Even the dev is not sure if it was an attack or a bug: "This was either due to an intentional attack on the network or an issue with the masternode payments system" (source: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/masternode-payments-and-beyond.921/).

To control 100% of the darksend transactions, I would need to control 100% of the masternodes but if an attacker control 50%, he will be able to decode 50% of the darksend transactions. Then the anonymity is not 100% effective. Law enforcement could easily run their own masternodes to snoop on the network.

Nothing is 100% secure and I'm sure that this case of masternode hack will be not the last.

lol, no, Darksend and masternodes are working now but they aren't getting paid yet and the ds limit is 10 drk per trans. mn payments will be implemented on june 14 and the 10 drk limit will be lifted then as well.
