I'm under the impression that there are some affordable 3d scanners out there, but I haven't really looked into it yet to be honest. On the other hand, you have plenty of models you can download from the net, in sites like thingiverse, for example:

Thanks for the links to the models, they certainly would work very well. Are different colours available in 3-d printing? Or would I have to paint them afterwards?

I admit that Monopoly isn't the most intense board game, but I find it to be very inclusive (it's a happy medium between something like Axis & Allies and Candyland). It's a simple game to decide on in a large group of friends with varying interests. Anyhoo, it was my hope that the twists would make it more fun to play, or as others have said you can turn it into a drinking game. Anytime someone passes go, you take a shot. I think maybe I didn't word that quite right. I wasn't claiming to have thought of the concept of Monopoly... the game was invented well before I was born! XD I was specifically referring to Mariopoly. I had not seen this version in stores before. Some friends of mine had talked about making up their own versions of Monopoly and this is what I came up with a while ago.
