Mobius ICO - Please Help

Hi guys,

Quote: Buying MOBI is NOT an investment — MOBI tokens are only for the DApp Store.

What does this mean? Are the MOBI won't be actual crypto that can be sold on the market? Or do I have to buy Credits in DApp Store only?

https://gyazo.com/0eb5d93607e0152509ce3a84df70b567

I'm just worried if I buy $1000 of MOBI and then I can't sell it if the market-price of MOBI rises. - If that makes sense?

The public sale will start within the hour and I would appreciate some clarity on this. Thank you

Buddy,

You need to calm down! They are a huge company that is severely understaffed.

My Dads email got hacked and he had over 20,000$ in USD in his account. It took over 4 months for a reply.

The best thing I did was go on REDDIT and ping a Moderator for Poloniex and I got a response fairly quickly.

My emails and PC for RAT'd and after re-installing his email was unrecoverable.

So after 4 months of sending only 2 emails. -They responded and dealt with the case quickly. Transfered from a yahoo to a hotmail account all the funds.

So relax, if trade is pending. Cancel it and try resend. I find that helped sometimes it happens.

But yeah:

Waited 4 months to resolve this issue although it was a serious issue. All funds are secured now with new login that was transfered. Just had to send pictures holding piece of paper with Poloniex + Date and ID. Smiley

Re: 5000 gbp to invest. Pleave review my altcoin choices
by
-DarkByDesign-
on 04/01/2018, 11:11:37 UTC
I've personally not heard of any of the listed Altcoins.

I've got roughly 5 grand invested in current coins:

Ripple XRP - £1500
Siacoin SC - £2000
Etherium ETH - £1500

The current 3 coins I've invested in seem to be doing really well.

I got my Dad to invest £4400 in May and he is now at over £16,000.

I feel those are strong stable coins apart from (SIACOIN) SC - This is a High Risk High Gamble coin which I find a strong investment. The main reason for this is - I worked in Recruitment working with Big Data Engineers and
I gained that is the future with storage/cloud storage solutions around Big Data and industries like Facebook. This coin itself is a Cloud Storage service provider which is almost 10x cheaper than the same Service Microsoft and Amazon are currently offering.  So if you want a nice gamble for the future, I'd put some money on Sia. For secure payment investment ETH, XRP are strong candidates.

But this is just my two piece.

Re: $2000 to invest - Your Voice

If I were you, I would split the $2,000 to at least $100 or more per coin/token. I would recommend some that are below $0.20 in value, so that you could own more coins or tokens.

Here are the ones that I recommend for you to split your $2,000:

*Electroneum
*Dogecoin
*Tron
*Reddcoin
*Digibyte
*Bytecoin
*Dent
*Verge
*Funfair
*Decentraland

I hope this advice helps you a bit. However, the decision is still yours to make. Just learn how to manage the risks later on.

Good luck!

Looks like a nice list,

I may invest into these, I just dont see Dogecoin as one I would invest in. But rest looks decent enough.

Will add all of them to my Blockfolio.

Any advice on when to cash out. Can't HODL forever. - PRofit of 100%/ 200% - what is good way of doing so? Any tips?

Re: Why Siacoin is going down?
by

Siacoin has been on the rise, especially with the Bitcoin rise, the value has almost gone over 250% since investing into it when it was at 550 Satoshies.

It will go crazy when the Obelisk ASIC miners are shipped out. in  May and August as the batch 2 sales just started.

So keep at eye out for that rise.

How do you identify Low MarketCap Coins. I never understood how Low Marketcap or High Marketcap ever influences the value of the coin.

Fantastic input so far.

I'm filtering through these and love the arguements made against others comments.

I've already got over $2000 on Siacoin / $2000 in BTC / $1000 in XRP and $100 scattered on different Cryptos.

So currently:

These are the ones that caught my attention from your posts made in this thread:

XVG - Verge: This looks interesting, so will be researching it more.
Etherium: I got ETC atm, which has declined strongly from when I invested. Where I'm HODL until it grows to profit.

There are other coins such as:

NAV
Strat
ICON

I also keep seeing: OMG coin: Pop up quite often in a lot of threads but not 100% certain about this coin with 0 knowledge on it. Will need to look into it.

Hi guys,

I do appreciate that a lot of you out there take a lot of time and invest into different cryptocurrencies after researching and also obviously taking other strong experienced users opinions.

I've current invested largely in the following coins:

XRP
SC - Siacoin
Strat
Etherium
Bitcoin

I have $2000 extra from my pay-cheque this month and was hoping to put it on some cryptocurrencies.

Could you please give me your opinion on which coins you feel would be worth covering in 2018 and why. I would greatly appreciate all opinions and comments.

Thank you

Can I still do this?

My BTC has been in my blockchain.info wallet the entire time. Can I now move it into another wallet, generate the keys etc. and still claim BCH?

Yes you can. All you would need is the PrivateKey from your blockchain.info.

Here's a link to my guide on How-To: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2088672.msg20873242#msg20873242

Don't you guys think enormous supply of SC will badlu effect its possible growth? I love everything about this coin, especially after having read this thread, but supply is really really huge...

I agree, but the same was with XRP and other coins.

I feel the whole thing is going to be more on the development of the coin and there-for will be good investment and attract a lot of attention.

People are mining for a reason they know that this will grow and it doesn't always depend on the Marketcap and supply.

Ohh got to love the jump from 150 Siacoin Satoshies to 220 Siacoin Satoshies!

That jump went from - to profit in no time. With the Rise of Bitcoin the overall price is staying stable of investment anyway.

I can't wait till Siacoin goes back and goes over 1000 Satohies and hopefully by that time, BTC will be worth 6000USD+. Meaning almost 500-800% Profit from investment for me Cheesy! ^_^ Happy days

HODL! HOLD HODL! All the way, I think May 2018 is going to be a right good year> Smiley

Prove me wrong about BCC brother.

probably your bch client connected to a core server, and that's why it could not find your bcash in your old wallet. I heard that it can happen.
For me everything worked finely: I moved my btc, recovered the BCH from my old wallet, dumped them, and made 10% on my BTC.

The only purpose of Bitcoin Classic, and Bitcoin ABC, was BCC for the new crypto.
How could they make such an error as to allow it to connect to the BTC blockchain?

How does someone switch/correct this problem?

Thank you for the intelligent response.  No flat earth or anything.

Lol if you already tried it with your Bitcoin ABC Client, give me your Empty PrivateKey then Tongue I will pop it into mine and claim your so-called $500,000 worth of BCC that you had stored on there (Supposingly any of this is true) Tongue

I did read what you wrote and I chose to ignore the stupidity of your comments. I only said that you are mistaken and you need to perhaps chill your bean and try again, because you've evidently did something wrong. If you can't follow instruction or not able to get your BCC then you need help, which i'm happy to give. Smiley

Bitcoin ABC can take an empty wallet PrivateKey and you get your BCC. You jsut keep all your BTC in another location when you do this Smiley Simples. Smiley

BCC is a scam!  There is no such Alt coin.

I have gone to bitcoincash.org
I have moved all of my Bitcoin to NEW wallets AFTER August 2nd.
I have downloaded and installed Bitcoin ABC, and Bitcoin Classic.
I have allowed Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin Classic to download the huge blockchain.
The ABC and Classic transaction logs do show the transactions of me moving my BTC.

ABC and Classic are showing the BTC blockchain, NOT the BCC blockchain!

Therefore I suspect BCC is a scam, all software offered by bitcoincash.org is only trying to steal your BTC private keys.
There are no BCC alt coins.
It is spyware looking to steal your BTC.  Or if you are stupid enough to think you are on a BCC wallet, you will be selling your BCC on an exchange for BCC exchange prices, not realizing you just sold your BTC (worth 10 times more then you'll get.)

Watch out!

Strange,

when i send BTC to a new wallet, the BCC gets sent with it.
When the old, empty BTC key is imported into bitcoinABC wallet it shows the BCC moved also with the btc.  Undecided

I've been told that is not possible? which wallet did you use to send out the BTC?

To confirm my conclusion that BCC is a scam, I explored the settings of Bitcoin ABC.
Amounts shown are in BCC it says.  Not BTC.
Yet the transaction log, blockchain is the same blockchain as BTC.
BCC has no blockchain, BCC is not a split off of BTC.
There is no BCC, this is just to steal peoples private keys by offering them new, random free money from BCC, fake and does not exist.

Ok,

You are very uninformed and uneducated. It is not a scam, have you followed my guide... You can move your BTC from your Wallets, and use the PrivateKey to import into Bitcoin ABC which means when you do that, the PrivateKey to that Address is now EMPTY of any BTC. Which means you are only recovering the BCC which happened during the split.

Again please read my TOPIC once you have your PrivateKey:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2088672.msg20873242#msg20873242

If you have problems or unable to figure this out as its clear, there's also a link to a video which shows you how its done.

WHAT I DID:

I have 0.4BTC in my EXODUS wallet, which I put in there around 26th of August, I then on the 08th of August imported my PrivateKey from my EMPTY now Exodus wallet as i transfered my BTC back to Poloniex for trading. So Empty Exodus Wallet PrivateKey into Bitcoin ABC and I had 0.4 BCC in there. As per my instructions. Just saying.

In order for this to work.

Im looking for a video of how to do it from corewallet.

Hey buddy,

Can you do me a favour and link me to CoreWallet

I'm using this wallet currently: https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/desktop/windows/bitcoincore/

What i'll probably do is move all the bitcoin out of my wallet first and then go from there.

That's exactly what I did, so this is the steps to getting a PrivateKey for your current Bitcoin Core Wallet:

launch your bitcoin client as usual and wait for it to load the blockchain and start up
click on 'help' in the menu bar (top right)
click on 'debug window'
select the 'console' tab
type: walletpassphrase "your walletpassphrase here" 600
type: dumpprivkey [your Bitcoin address here]
this will return the private key, you can copy it now; ensure you clear your clipboard/history afterwards
type: walletlock

--------------

What I would do if I was you is transfer all your Bitcoins to a safe location/wallet.

Then Export/Dump the PrivateKey as stated in the guide I've for Bitcoin Core in this post.

Once you have your privateKey, then follow my Guide in the previous post. on Bitcoin ABC.

You would need 120GB of available space when you create Bitcoin ABC to sync the Blockchain. Smiley

If you need any help or anything, hit me up, I'm happy to help.

Yeah, I don't want to see any PrivateKeys or anything I will just guide on how its done.

Need Bitcoin ABC + You need to have a pre-existing wallet which can be (EMPTY) now but it had to have had Bitcoins between 31st April and 1st August.

= Then it has hidden BCC in there that you can get.

Just here to help, and I wouldn't expect anyone to give their keys, if they do they are in return stupid...

Kind regards,
-D

Do you mean if I have bitcoin in my wallet anytime from 30 April to 31 August, I am able to claim BCC?
Anyway, it is very nice of you to provide help in this community.

QUICK BREAKDOWN GUIDE:

Source to where I learned to get BCC:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaRWNdRW9kE

--------------------------------------------------------

Once you have your Private Key - Download Bitcoin ABC -

---------------------
Step 1: Open Bitcoin ABC - At the top Select: Settings - Encrypt Key. ( Put a key in that you would remember/write it down ) example: walletkey321 ( Once Confirmed: Bitcoin ABC will Restart )
Step 2: Goto Help - Debug Window.
Step 3: Select Console at the top ( Next to Information )
Step 4: Type: walletpassphrase walletkey321 600
Step 5: importprivkey 5HpHagT65TZzG1PH3CSu63k8DbpvD8s5ip4nEB3kEsreBR6zCMU (Hit Enter)

You will not see (Re scanning) Remember the BCC will only appear once you have had your PC on for like 3 days and fully SYNCED into the blockchain. Once that's complete and you've followed all these steps. VOALA! You will have your BCC in your wallet.

This is very straight forward and easy to do, if you have any questions I'd be happy to help and answer them.

Kind regards,
-D

In order for this to work.

You need to download Bitcoin ABC - then leave your PC on for about 3-4 days, so that the BlockChain information gets downloaded, you would need 130GB of space on a HDD you'd be using.

You also need to have a wallet which where you had BTC in there between 31 July - 1st August. Wallet can now be Empty and you need to be able to Generate Private Keys from that Wallet.

Then using Bitcoin ABC, you need to use the Console to insert the PrivateKey.

I will need to find a link to the tutorial I used which worked. Will link the Youtube video later.

Kind regards,
-D

Im looking for a video of how to do it from corewallet. If you can make that youtube vid then great - maybe include a few different ways. Put up a donation address and if i like the tutorial i will send you a decent tip after. Include no dodgy scammy stuff, like unknown links/downloads please.

What an exchange needs to do or another wallet software needs to do is offer a feature where you can just upload your wallet.dat and your BCH is all there instantly.

Hey buddy,

Can you do me a favour and link me to CoreWallet I want to make sure exactly what wallet you are using. I want to find out exactly how you export your key, then will show you how to do it on here. Thanks

Kind regards,

Some beautiful points here, think you should make a thread about the current competition and the current points stated about other coins.

I really can't wait for the coin to grow but the lower it drops the more investments im putting into it Smiley

Unfortunately I have nothing more to invest. I typically spread my Bitcoin among many alts, but because of the rise in Bitcoin, I figure the best bet is to put it into 1 alt that is strong temporarily - Sia.

If you send me some Sia I will do that write-up today and post it tonight. I will make sure to include citations. It will also give me a chance to dive deeper into Filecoin.

How does 3000 Sia sound (about $18 (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/siacoin/ price multiplied by 3000 ~= $18)) ?

Note: I will accept this from anyone else too. Hell...crowdfund the $18 :V

I will mention it was funded by you, heh. And hey, maybe we can +1 trust each other too (haven't had any chance to use this trust system on bitcointalk).

Haha, doing a write-up would benefit you if you are part of Sia and have Sia currently. - I'm not giving away free cash, You've already answered some questions that others had and thank you for that.

What I was thinking is if you post a detailed good post on here, may give some Investors something to consider and perhaps will help get Siacoin the right attention/publicity is deserves since Siacoin don't do much to publicize and make the coin more known-focused on.
