The exchange is indeed a scam. 2+ weeks of waiting for kyc to be verified, 1 month+ since I sent a support email, and no response on telegram. They also keep changing the address for their business on their website. Use an internet archive to see older versions of the site.

Several days ago I had the misfortune of creating an account on this exchange and deposing Substratum to my account. Due to other issues, I was not able to deposit BTC to pay for the selling fees,  and when I attempted to withdraw my Substratum I ran into several problems that are a cause for concern.

This exchange requires you to upload sensitive documents to verify your identity, otherwise you have a daily withdraw limit of $100 USD. This fact was not made clear when signing up for the exchange, and I do not trust CoinPlace's security measures to be sufficient enough to keep my personal information secure.

There is also the fact that their "Terms and Conditions" state that some jurisdictions are restricted from using CoinPlace, but they do not include which jurisdictions are restricted.

I no longer wish to use this exchange, but my funds are being withheld from me unless I willingly upload highly sensitive documents to a website with highly questionable security. Coinplace lacks basic security measures, has a terrible UI, lacks some of the most basics features standard among other exchanges, and after trying twice to contact their support I was unable to get through or receive any assistance.

I fear that this exchange is a scam, and that my funds are gone. I have sent an email and a message to them on this forum, but I have received no response.

Where To Sell My Mining Rig
by
AaronD
on 16/11/2018, 14:35:11 UTC
I built a mining rig last year, and it easily paid for itself within the first month, but I only used it for 2-3 months. I've been trying to sell it on Craigslist but I'm not having much luck, and I'm not sure what it's worth. I'd really like to get $1000 out of it - I feel that this is a fairly discounted price when I compare it to other rigs for sale. I'd like to sell it locally (Las Vegas) - I feel safer transacting with cash than other payment methods. Where do I go to sell this?

Here's the ad: https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/sys/d/5x-rx480-gpu-mining-rig/6736160139.html

Whoever designed the UI for the application itself needs to be assigned to re-designing the website. The application's UI is top-notch, but the designer that you hired (This guy?: http://comandosuricato.com/ ) doesn't know what he is doing or didn't care enough to do a proper job. Also weeklys is not a word in English. Weekly is. So: Weekly Blog or Weekly Newsletter or Weekly anything, but not Weeklys.

I see that you are an expert in web design. You could send your CV or linkedin to creativechain.org
You're wrong again. The web designer is the same as the designer of the APP.
Weeklys is an invented name (is naming)  Tongue. We are artists we like to play.

Then he didn't care enough to do a proper job on the site. The two are incomparable in terms of quality.

You can keep trying to deny all of this, but the fact is that you are sitting at 2m marketcap. Bitconnect has a higher marketcap and they're a verified scam.

You are literally using a generic theme from theme fusion as your website and you still try to argue with me about the design and effort?

To further drive my point home, let's go see how creativechain's site is rated.

https://sitechecker.pro/seo-report/https://www.creativechain.org/project/

0/100. 17 warnings, 9 of them "critical". Not only is your site ranking abysmally for SEO, but also accessibility, and the site points out the same thing that I did - You are using H1 tags incorrectly, in fact, you have two of them. Google Page Speed Score is: 36/100. This is the most comprehensive SEO rating tool that I can find. The other may give you a better score based solely on the fact that they don't check a fraction of what sitechecker does. So I don't really care what your designers with years of experience think when they can't even use an H1 tag properly or assign alt descriptions to images.

To start off with, the navigation menu on the creativechain website is in Spanish even when it's set to English.

Now to get to the heart of the matter. I have held creativecoin for over a year, hoping to see this project at a 50 - 100m dollar marketcap. Those hopes have slowly dwindled, due to a number of major concerns that have not been properly addressed.

The first concern is the website. Go to any other successful project's website and you'll quickly gain a simple understanding of their project, but on creativechain's site you get vague statements that don't actually say anything! "The decentralized creative community" is using an H1 tag for fucks sake. That's terrible for SEO optimization. An H1 tag is supposed to be used to describe the main content of the site - not to make a vague statement stand out even more.

....

Thanks for your extensive opinion. Cool

The main menu had a bug, it is fixed. Thanks for notifying.

I'll just tell you that there are people with many years of web design experience in the team and they do not agree with your idea of good design.
Your main mistake is to think that Creativechain is a product like Ethereum. NO, they are different products with a different public. The website is explained to the potential users of the project (artists and Creatives).

Any website can be improved, the ETH website is not our reference for good design.
If you search in YouTube "Creativechain" you will see that you are not right. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Creativechain+

Thanks for your tips. Cheesy

5 months, 1 month, 1 year, 2 months, 1 month, ect. There are a few videos that mention "Creativechain" in other languages so I have no idea what the videos are actually discussing. Are they reviews, discussions on price, talking about updates? Regardless, there is no video in English that discusses what this project is, with the exception of the video from 5 months ago in which the reviewer was unable to get the Beta to work. The largest market speaks English - Having videos in Russian and arabic do little to no good, clearly.

And your designers don't have to agree with my definition of good design, because I don't have one. The website simply fails to adhere to some of the most basic rules of good design - not to mention that it isn't search engine optimized. https://goodui.org/home.php

"The decentralized creative community" is using an H1 tag for fucks sake. That's terrible for SEO optimization. Let's take a look at www.ethereum.org: The very first thing that users see is the logo, name, and a short description of WHAT IT IS. Ethereum Logo > Ethereum > Blockchain App Platform.

Now let's scroll down on the creativechain website. The next section  is devoted to downloads. This is quite stupid, really. Why would a potential user want to download anything at this point? They know nothing about the project. They scrolled down to get more information because the first section didn't tell them anything, and they got download links for a product that they know nothing about.

Now let's scroll down on the Ethereum site, what do we see?

Build unstoppable applications
Ethereum is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts: applications that run exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third-party interference.

These apps run on a custom built blockchain, an enormously powerful shared global infrastructure that can move value around and represent the ownership of property.

To the right of this description of what Ethereum (and blockchain) is, we get an animation demonstrating the difference between traditional server architecture.

Scroll down and we continue to get more information on the project, with some download links thrown in as well.

This is just what Ethereum's site looks like without clicking anything. If the user wants more information, there's a whole bunch of documentation, or videos to watch.

Now let's scroll down on creativechain's site:

The descriptions of what creativechain is need a lot of work, and the accompanying visuals are useless. That's wasted space and a wasted opportunity.

Moving forward, this project needs an entirely re-designed website that follows the rules of good visual design and search engine. It should be simple, yet informative, and graphics should contribute to educating the viewer.

A poorly designed website isn't all that's wrong with the project though.

This project has had no marketing. There isn't an explainer video, the devs don't release videos talking about updates, and there is no sense of community created.

You REALLY need to take a look at Substratum for an example on how to market and build a strong community.

I understand that I'm being a dick, but I've made "nice" post in the past. That didn't work. Creativecoin's marketcap is 2 million - that's shit. Even after a year, and the release of the mainnet, there still isn't a video. There still isn't sufficient information on the team. There has to be changes made. You guys have to realize that as things are now, it isn't looking good.

In one of the only videos about creativecoin on Youtube, from earlier this year, the reviewer wasn't able to get the Beta working. So the only impression of creativecoin on Youtube is of your project NOT EVEN WORKING, and you have done nothing to change that! That is seriously NOT good.

I know that I'm being a dick, but you also know that I'm right, so do something about it if you want this project to succeed.

Will the investors of the project make a profit? If so, from what? It turns out that to store files on the cloud, you will need to pay, perhaps monthly. Do investors make money from these payments? Roll Eyes

How can investors make profit from the payments of customers? You dont.. you can only make profit from that if you are a host, and you give your spare space to the network. Investors can only profit from the rise of the value of the token, as in every coin out there.

Have you never heard of dividends? There are tokens that pay or will pay dividends.

Please update coinmarketcap.com to add the Subreddit. Also, a specific release date for mainnet release of the platform as well as a marketing plan would be nice. In addition to that, can we expect any work to be done on the QT wallet in the near future? It needs a UI upgrade.

What's up with the "Good job" post? This isn't a good job, this was a massive failure. You posted on this forum and on Twitter that the Beta would begin on the 28th of December, you created a countdown timer for it on your website, and then all of sudden there isn't a single mention that the beta would be delayed on this forum, your twitter, or your website.

Failing to keep your community updated, even when things go wrong, is extremely unprofessional.

150 Confirmations for Cream in exchange  to be available? seriously?

dang, where can we see that?

IN exchange
i guess thas why they dont say that in ANN Lamers 150!! wtf is this seriously

can you share the link of where I can check that

https://snag.gy/6RnpES.jpg

Sits at 11/150 since 25 minutes 35   45  Slowest coin ever

Fast coin you got there

The number of confirmations that an exchange requires before they will accept a deposit has nothing to do with the Creativecoin team. Additionally, this isn't "cream", it's crea, for Creativecoin. Don't come on here with a condescending attitude blaming the team for an exchange's stupidity.

In addition to my suggestions from my previous post, what is needed is a video showcasing the current development status of the platform. The images look great but they are insufficient. This would also help bring more awareness to the project, as right now when searching "Creativecoin" or "Creativechain" on Youtube next to nothing of any relevance actually comes up.

The recent screenshots look great, and I like the UI design, however the following points really must be stressed:

  • Creativecoin must be added to a bigger exchange BEFORE any major release.
  • The volume must pickup. There has to be coins for newcomers to buy.
  • You can have the best platform in the world, but without marketing no one will ever know about it.
  • Being a primarily Spanish-speaking team, there are oftentimes errors in grammar, and this could really hurt marketing. You need someone fluent in both English and Spanish to double-check EVERYTHING before it is posted. Newsletters, blogpost, tweets, ect.
  • We need more information on the individual team-members.
  • Reddit and Discord are much better and more commonly-used platforms for disscusion. Reddit can also be a great place to spread awareness of the project. I strongly encourage the team to begin using these platforms ASAP.

I bought Creativecoin about 4 months ago, and while I've had my doubts, my optimism for the project is beginning to pickup. However, something needs to be done about marketing and communication.

As far as marketing goes, utilizing social media to build and grow and active community is absolutely essential. As it stands right now, there is quite a bit of room for improvment in this area:

The way that the Creativecoin Twitter account is used needs to change. It's sharing useless information and articles that aren't helpful to current creativecoin holders nor does it help acquire additional investors. A Stephen Hawking article, while interesting, does absolutely nothing to expand the community. Twitter needs to be used for important updates and news (Which needs to happen more frequently).

An official subreddit needs to be created and added to coinmarketcap.com. It needs to have a custom design as well as important links and information. Reddit is one of the most popular sites in the world, and more people can discover Creativecoin through the platform. To not have an official Subreddit is a disservice to the entire community.

Discord should be used in place of Telegram. It is a rapidly growing platform available on more devices and allows for more customization.

The website needs to be redesigned, and more information about the team needs to be available. You will have trouble attracting the more serious investors unless you make information on the team more widely available. As it stands right now, few team members have links to their linkedin profiles and the majority of the ones that do have almost nothing on their profiles, not even a picture. We need more information about their qualifications and why they are working on the project.

The website needs to explain, in simple terms, what the creativechain platform is, what it is used for, and why people should use it. You have a GREAT whitepaper explaining all of that, but it needs to be available on the website and in a video.

You need someone on your team that is better versed in English. There are several grammar mistakes on the website and many more on social media. I understand that the team is spanish, but the market at this point is mostly English.

As far as communication goes, this problem will mostly be solved by the marketing steps that I have outlined above. Making current community members happy also tends to make potential investors happy.

Better communication involves refining the team's use of social media (Twitter, Reddit, even Discord) and building a more informative website, with a much better "Team" page. We need REAL picture of the team members. We need to hear from them why they are a part of the project, and what their past experiences are.

It would also be cool to see a photo of the entire team together. Small things like this helps legitimize the team and by extension the project. Also, I would absolutely love to see an interview done with DataDash. He's a Youtuber that covers cryptocurrencies that has been growing his channel rapidly. An interview with him would be a fantastic way of bring attention to the project.
