Are you surprised the freebitcoin service is still operational for this length of time even with the huge amount of complaints against them?

I thought they would have collapsed (or exit-scammed) a long time ago, I have no idea how they have managed to survive so long without resolving all of the complaints and/or concerns.

Basically a scam. Some of us warned about it a long time ago, you being the first to raise flags. But pathetically we can still see in this thread saying that hopefully shortly things will be resolved and FBI will go back to working as well as it did in the past. Without any real indication or rational basis for it.
I reckon the exit scam is still in the works.  Most likely, the new owners have been setting it up since FBC BV changed hands (my best guess is this happened sometime in the spring of 2023) and they're going to let the domain lapse in October and run away with the money.  It's possible there will be a mass banwave of users from the countries prohibited by the TOS before that, which would likely be the majority of FBC users because the list includes the United States, and that would give them a "legitimate" basis to keep most of the money they're going to steal.

Somehow I'm not particularly inclined to trust that someone named "fbtcvip" is delivering unbiased and objective news about FBC, but this looks convincing.  I'm still taking it with a grain of salt though

It seems they've changed the FUN savings program to only 10% APY instead of 25%, hopefully that doesn't affect my locked FUN.  It's also displaying that I have membership benefits, shockingly, but it says I get 1 WOF spin per day instead of the 13 I should be getting, and it doesn't seem to be actually giving me this alleged WOF spin.

When an account is banned, do the funds disappear, and what happens to them? Does the administrator have access and can just withdraw and transfer everything? Or maybe that’s not possible and everything stays in the wallet?
You won't get anything if they banned your account. The funds will be confiscated. How can you mess up like that by keeping big amounts on your account? Does the account of your sister belong to your referral list (or vice-versa)? Also check your mailbox whether you have received an automatic password reset email from them since this problem started to happen. They won't ban the accounts just like that unless you and your sister has made any abuse.

My question here is, how the f**ck do you get your account banned on a website as simple as FBC? I mean, the website consists of 20 clicks and nothing more. What could have he done, except maybe openly threatening the team in order to get an account banned? Makes you think what people are capable of
I'm guessing that every so often they randomly ban someone with a bunch of funds stored, make up an arbitrary reason, and take the money.  Seems like exactly the kind of thing they'd do.  They've probably got some garbage about "we may terminate your account for any reason at any time" in the terms of use that lets them get away with it.

✅ Game revenues = Buy & Burn engine to increase token value
✅ Gamification = XP, quests, loot boxes, leaderboards
✅ 40+ games across mobile + web platforms
✅ 10M+ players targeted by 2026
✅ Real partnerships with game studios to expand FUN adoption

I've noticed your roadmap is missing a couple very important tourist destinations, like Paying-Out-Premium-Benefits City and Renewing-The-Domain-Registrationsburg.  You might wanna stop by those on your little journey, they're not too far out of your way.

A bunch of people are saying they're getting their WOF spins credited now but I'm still not getting mine.  What gives?  Could it have something to do with the number of them, maybe?  I'm supposed to be getting 13 a day, maybe they're only paying out for people who have less?

Well, look who decided to grace us with their presence.  As long as you're playing around with this pump-and-dump nonsense, could you maybe also look into giving out the at least a hundred thousand spins that you collectively owe the users of this site, or calling either of the last two Lambo winners?  Or tell the folks upstairs to stop lying to us about FBC not changing hands?  Or explain why you're blithering on about "Q1 2026" when you've already made it abundantly clear that the site isn't even making it to Halloween?  You're just going to pivot completely to FUN-related stuff without any fanfare, aren't you?

Oh, we're finally starting to receive our WOF spins back? Just got them today.

I still haven't gotten any of mine, so I'm guessing it's completely random or arbitrary which users it's coming back for.  I'm owed several hundred by this point and I doubt I'll ever receive any of them before the site shuts down in October

~

The reputation was built over 10 years, and the end is visible in one phrase!!!

I have to agree that something bad is really happening to this reputable site. Shame.

Today after receiving an email from Freebitco.in and trying to claim a freespin on their WoF, I got this:

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2025/04/01/lriD2.png

and then after reloading the page:

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2025/04/01/lrKZc.png

How could it be expired if the email was sent today? Sorry, guys, but this feels like mockery of users to me.

Maybe that's their idea of an April Fools' Day prank?

Better idea, guys, maybe your prank should be fixing the site and keeping it fixed!  That would sure get us good, I bet we'd get a real kick out of that one

I'm positively surprised to see the pump which pushed FUN back to 7 satoshis, so I just got rid of (almost) all my FUN holdings, although the website is bugged, as it doesn't allow to sell the final 20.000 FUN chunk. So there is still 20.000 FUN stuck there.

Anyway, for everyone who still hold FUN, it's better that they also sell their holdings before it's too late. Pumps like this aren't solid, neither sustainable. You can expect a crash is going to happen anytime soon.

Now I'm just waiting a BTC withdrawal from freebitco.in. It's said to be sent in 15 minutes. Let's see.
I wish I could, but I was naïve and foolish and locked half a million FUN that won't reach maturity until after the site shuts down so I'm kind of SOL on this one.  I bought them at 2 sats so I could've made a pretty penny off of this if only I'd just not locked it

I know Freebitco.in still has good amount of money to operate the business. But they do not have a good intention to run it smoothly. Otherwise, they would provide good support to their customers.

If they still have a good amount of money, then what's stopping them from holding a drawing for round 11 of the Lambo lottery? In my opinion, this shows that they have some financial problems since they have been stalling for so long and don't want to hold a fair lambo draw.
It's very strange that the team of the project that had an impeccable 10-year reputation suddenly stopped having good intentions.

I'm not going to go into too many details about this but I will chime in with a few thoughts about the situation:

1) I'm 99% sure the site changed owners in the past. I won't say when but also fairly certain I know exactly when and how it happened
2) I'm positive on this one: the current owners (whether the same or different from the past) do care, there's just something deeper that's been happening. I believe the other post that theorized the codebase is having issues and the people behind it don't know how to fix it or something
3) I'm almost positive that the issues are due to a microservice due to how things break and how they start working again (my own analysis)

I could be wrong on one of these, but I'm fairly sure these are all accurate based on my personal knowledge. It also doesn't mean that the site won't go down due to the second part of #2. It's sad to see where it's gotten now, that's for sure, and I hope that someone takes over that can manage things better.
But if the current owners really do care, that raises a ton of new questions about how they've been handling things.  Why was CSFBC completely silent from last August until the beginning of March when there have constantly been issues in that time?  Why are they insisting certain issues don't exist?  Why, when asked directly if there are any plans to renew the site's domain, did CSFBC actively ignore the question?  If the current owners care enough about their reputation to have someone run damage control on Bitcointalk, why don't they also care enough to put out a statement saying "we're not going to run away with your money on October 10" or "here's what actually happened to the other FBC spokespeople" or even just a simple apology for the past several months of nonsense?  If there are codebase issues they can't fix, why haven't they put a hiring page up to try and find someone who can?  If the site did change hands and the current owners really do care, why didn't CSFBC tell the truth about it?  What are they trying to hide?  If the owners actually care, then this set of circumstances indicates a truly appalling amount of incompetence from everyone involved, and I honestly don't think that's the case.

**📢 Website Access Update – 500 Internal Server Error**

We are aware of users experiencing a ‘500 Internal Server Error’ when trying to access the site. Our team is actively investigating and working around the clock to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

We kindly ask that you refrain from sending multiple emails regarding this, as we are receiving an extremely high volume of contact currently. This helps us manage response times more effectively as we work through the backlog and respond to each contact.

At this time, I am unable to address queries regarding bonuses affected during the downtime. However, once the site is back up and running, we will review each case.

We will provide updates as soon as we have more information.

Best Regards,

Customer Support Team
Freebitco.in

I've got a question for you.  Are there plans to renew the Freebitco domain registration before it expires on October 10?  It seems like you guys are cutting it very close and I'm a little concerned.  I can understand if you don't know the answer to that—I'm sure they don't tell the PR department everything—so I'll give you some time to ask around and find someone who does know.  Let's say maybe a week?  That should be enough time to get a simple yes-or-no answer and post it here, even with how busy you all seem to be over there (I feel your pain, believe me).  If there's no response within a week, or if the response is anything other than a clear and unambiguous "yes", that will effectively be an official statement that FBC is not planning on continuing operations past October.  That'd be an awful shame, since you seem like a nice group of decent folks and the fallout from a statement like that would be unpleasant for all of us, so I really do hope you can confirm otherwise.

Have a nice day!
Since this hasn't been answered in a week, despite CSFBC actively posting and addressing website downtime in that time, I'm going to interpret it as an official statement from FBC that they're planning to shut down when the domain registration lapses.  I'd advise people to withdraw as soon as possible and get this information out however they can—tell your friends, post on other sites, contact crypto news outlets, whatever you can do to get the word out there that FBC is shutting down and probably taking everyone's money with them.

If payouts start being affected, then the site has started a bank run on themselves. If they don't have the capitol then this is the end.
It's only a bank run if they actually process any of the withdrawals.  They could just as easily run off with all the money instead

This is the second time in something like 5 days.  I feel like we're approaching the endgame

It's strange that right now as I'm writing this post I can't access the website.

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2025/03/21/0xO3C.png

I don't know what the casino owners are up to, but since last year, when these problems started on the site, I started warning people not to use the site until they had some proof that the site still belonged to the same people, but unfortunately many people are ignoring the many flags that the site has. Maybe now they have some kind of problem with the server and fix it. We will see in the next few hours how the situation will be.
Well, I just tried visiting the casino and did encountered the same server error above, looking at the time which you made your comment, and looking at what the time is currently, I guess it's OK to say that this has been up for more than an hour or more now.

It's not looking nice at all, this looks more like the plug has been pulled, thank goodness I only have a few btc sats in there.
I really was hoping or believing that the team had started fixing the site like weeks ago when they started disturbing free spins to their users in the ton of six or more per day, seems like it was their last giveaway in preparation for the leaving.
All the same, fingers crossed and hoping this is but a minor glitch at the end of the day.

He's lying again, as always. When you log out of your account, the site is open and all statistics counters work at high speed.
I can confirm, loading on a browser where I'm not logged in leads to the login page but trying to log in takes you to the error page.  There's something fishy going on here, I'm sure of it

It's automated. Read my previous posts. Almost everything is currently broken, including withdrawals, so I'm assuming there's some backend issue there right now.
Oh, they've got a "back-end" issue, all right: their coding is ass!

In all seriousness, though, this is going to end up being a pretty bad look for FBC whether or not they fix whatever broke during that downtime.  If they don't fix it, that would be a new and frankly impressive level of negligence.  If they DO fix it, it means that this whole time they could've fixed any of the smaller, easier-to-fix problems that people have been complaining about for ages and are actively choosing not to.  Which one do you folks think is more likely?

Hehey, new problem. Locked FUN actually stays locked - Expires 22/3/2025 4:57:25. I do think that's passed already.
Oh, this is a bad sign.  This is a REALLY bad sign.  I can't think of any reason this would happen unless they're really desperate to prevent people from dumping their FUN the moment it's unlocked.  If that's true, it likely means that either they're in a really precarious financial position or they're planning to take the money and run sometime in the very near future, possibly both.  I suppose it's possible that the FUN-unlocking system isn't automated and the person who manually does it is busy, but that seems like kind of a silly thing not to automate.
