Re: Nagbabayad ba kayo ng tax sa inyong crypto profit?
by

Re: No Amount is Affordable in Gambling
by

on 24/07/2025, 23:59:24 UTC
Each of us has a different financial status. When we say gamble only what you can afford to lose, it means the amount that won’t cause financial problems even if you lose it, regardless of how much it is. Sure, losing, whether it’s a small or big amount will still cause some frustration and that's normal. But at least it’s not to the point where it affects your finances overall. Most importantly, it shouldn’t impact your day to day life.

I think money that you can afford to lose is the extra money you have that can't affect your finances, but if it's a big amount, I am sure if you lose that, it's more frustrating than if you lose a small amount.
There's a big difference between losing big and small; the effect is higher when losing a big amount. Even if you can afford to lose it, I am sure it hurts when you lose, and the effect if you win makes you very happy.

Re: Before trading know this about cryptocurrency
by

Well, I do trade on futures. I have a very tight SL because I know the risk of trading with futures at least in my experience, I'm profitable with +40% WR sometimes I take 1:10 RR depending on how aggressive buyers and sellers are.

So it's totally a gamble if you don't know the risk of future trades. Look at those who join the contest on Bitget, Binance, or OKX. If you can monitor their stats, you would notice there are traders that actually can trade profitably.

Risk management is very important in futures because it's risky; spot has minimal risk the only good thing about spot is that you are safer from liquidation, and it is good for long-term holding.

That's why I keep reminding other people to feed their brains first with knowledge and experience, starting with paper money, and use their skills consistently until they discover the profitable strategy.
And don't trade against whales; if you see them going to sell, then don't hesitate to go sell. Like sample, the price came from oversold and near major support. If you see whales with aggressive buys near that area, then don't trade against them; instead, do the same thing with a proper entry plan and risk management.

Re: WOO X trading platform has been hacked with 9 users lost money
by

on 24/07/2025, 23:00:37 UTC
Just 9 users were affected and $14 million stolen, that is huge. Why are people keeping so huge amount on exchanges.

Well, I guess having a big amount has some advantages when trading, but if I were one of these people, I wouldn't deposit such a big amount to an unknown exchange like WOO. It's my first time hearing this exchange, but at least it is listed on CoinGecko at rank #74 with some details according to the CoinGecko penetration test under cyber security fails. So why would I trust an exchange that fails on cybersecurity and penetration tests?

It is way more safer to use a known exchange in the top 10 in CMC and CoinGecko and diversify your funds on 2 to 3 exchanges; at least you don't put all your funds in one basket.

We know, "Not your key not your coin. It is that simple." but there are no platforms yet where you can trade with your own wallet that you fully control.

In sports betting I believe that anyone can be a professional gambler if they can be profitable in the long run by analyzing each game and having experience losing and winning but profitable.

As others have stated, it seems that only poker players with a high win rate are qualify as professionals.

Re: Did You Catch These Entry Levels in the Last Cycle? BTC/BNB/XRP
by
BitMaxz
on 24/07/2025, 18:49:10 UTC
I was unlucky to buy BNB and XRP, but for BTC I bought mine when it was $5k but I sold my holdings during the pandemic, I think, when the price hits $50k. Now I am not holding any except for some coins that I mined, holding them until now and hoping in altcoin season to see their price hits the new ATH.

DCA is a good strategy for spotting dip prices, but the best way of using it is to buy every time the price hits the major support. Doing it in a consistent way while holding them, the profit should be massive on the next few years or cycle.

Re: Bitcoin mining using an Android phone
by
BitMaxz
on 22/07/2025, 23:59:47 UTC
Bitcoin mining with an Android phone is possible but not profitable I will explain why
Bitcoin mining is a puzzle where different miners compete  each other to solve the given puzzle and the miner who solves the puzzle fastest gets the reward. Imagine playing a game with your android phone and your competitor are using advanced computer for the same game, there is a very low probability that you will win that game. So we can see that mining Bitcoin is possible with Android phone but has a low probability of receiving a tangible profit from it. Also keep in mind that most of those apps on Android phone claiming to mine Bitcoin are scam and not profitable
My advise is that mining Bitcoin with Android phone is a waste of time and can damage the phone. instead focus on buying and selling of cryptocurrency with your android phone.

No, it's not possible. Mining BTC requires ASICs units if you want to mine BTC.
Android phones is not built to mine BTC and other crypto.

@OP

Don't ever try to mine any altcoins with your phone. It would end up overheating that can cause your phone dead or explode.

Re: OKX KYC is a joke

Most likely, but doesn't have to convert to USDT to trade with fiat via P2P. Could be BTC, ETH, or XRP directly to fiat and vice versa.

I tried that before in OKX direct exchange BTC and ETH but my problem is the rate is a bit far if you don't converted it first to USDT. That's why I suggested to exchange it first to USDT before going to P2P to exchange it into fiat.
The only cons of this you would need to pay trading fees after converting them into USDT.

If you see a good offer on P2P with direct exchange of BTC/ETH/XRP higher than  USDT then why not you can trade it into fiat. We are not the same I guess but for me, even it's a small amount I always coverted them into USDT for a better offers.

good discussion and good points made however since no one has any other real answer or solution I think in the input was helpful. localbitcoins is the answer if your willing to risk an actual meetup with a stranger. I give vague answers that are theories I am glad to see people here verifying what makes sense.

Are you still using localbitcoins?
I don't recommend using their service due to many issue on their platform before, meetup with a stranger is also pretty risky if you indeed meet up on hiding places.
If you can able to exchange your other coins into USDT and monero it might be more easier to exchange them into any p2p non kyc exchange.

thanks, i must have. i found the descriptions on an old backup of the wallet.
So you did just recover your wallet with your seed phrase? When you create a new wallet and restore your seed phrase, you won't be able to get those descriptions because all of them are saved in your old wallet file unless you enable the labelsync plugin as suggested above; it would automatically sync to the server that later would sync to your new wallet after you restore.

But sometimes I have issues with the LabelSync plugin; some labels or descriptions are missing, so if you want to take them all from your local PC/Laptop always use the export option as suggested above. To make the guide above more clear, check this image below as a reference.

Re: How can you enjoy the game when you are losing?
by
BitMaxz
on 21/07/2025, 23:06:18 UTC
It purely insane for a gambler to be happy while loosing, except the player is using another person stolen money to gamble. While gambling has remain a game of luck, it's been proven that many fail bets makes a gambler never feel disappointed anymore but get used to loosing, but that doesn't mean they are happy or they enjoy loosing. Nah

He's gone crazy if you see someone who is happy when he loses and sad when he wins.

Unhappy when he loses and happy if he wins—that's a normal reaction for most of us. You are gone crazy if you did it in the opposite way. Everything in the casino are based on luck. It wasn't build to make you a living; it was built for entertainment purposes. That is why they are just suggesting don't put too much emotion into gambling because you might end up crazy when you are happy when you lose.

There are many different people who gamble. Those who are seeking money are way happier compared to people who gamble just for fun; they treat gambling as a source of happiness, and even when they lose, they are still happy.

I haven't heard of the coin before.

You are a legendary but you haven't heard of this coin? Weird since it was an accepted payment option for copper membership before. It's a known coins acceptable here before the privacy coins are delisted on big exchanges like Binance.

I also have a these coins, but the problem is I don't know where to exchange them because this coin was already being remove from big exchanges. The only exchange I could see is gate.com but it's another KYC verification, and I guess there's a high slippage if I sell mine that can result in selling it lower than we expected.

Re: Have you been addicted to gambling in the past.
by
BitMaxz
on 21/07/2025, 22:04:42 UTC
I do gambling but I don't addicted to gamble too much because I already knew what would be the outcome and my father is one of them already for 1 to 2yrs until he sold everything motor and our house. The only thing that make him to stop or dealt with the addiction is the poverty. Where us cant able to find money to eat that's the reason he realize that needs to change because if he continue all of us will die due to hunger.

So my suggestion for addicted gambler if they can't avoid to gamble make sure to reduce their gambling activity and limit their self.

Re: How to troubleshoot Antminer problems?
by
BitMaxz
on 21/07/2025, 21:46:31 UTC
Troubleshooting a unit: if you can access the dashboard of this unit, just go directly to the kernel logs to check what the cause of the issue is, then check Bitmain's support for the solution guide if they have if not then use the search button here on the forum to look for a solution before making a new thread if your problem doesn't solve.

It looks like you got that high error due to an overheating issue. If I got the error, the first thing I would do is to clean the unit and clean all terminals first; it might be due to rusty terminals from the power supply.
If it still doesn't work, try to flash the unit with the latest firmware or switch to other firmware like Vnish or Braiins OS.

It looks like you got this image from Bitmain common issues and solutions? Why not try their solution? Yet if it doesn't work for you, try my suggestion.

Have you checked the backlinks of this site and where it is mentioned?

Most of the backlinks look very spammy, and they take the title of SEO expert. I don't know how the owner of this site manages his backlinks in a spammy way to promote or just to get link to a random site not related to them.

I am trying to access the site and it seems this one is a dead site.

uniswap and trezor wallet exchange have no kyc when ive used them
It's pretty bad you are trying to bring him to the DEX exchange. You won't be able to exchange BTC in mainnet using Uniswap. They also don't have a crypto to fiat option.
About exchanges from Trezor, they are 3rd party; there's no guarantee that you are safe about KYC verification.

@OP if this is a big amount, the suggestion above, like BisQ, is a good option. The only problem is they have fewer sellers if you are living in a 3rd world country.
You can check the payment method listed from BisQ here: https://bisq.wiki/Payment_methods

Also check the RoboSats; it's listed on kycnot.me
There's a problem: it seems that they only prefer Monero/USDT to fiat; there's no option for BTC. You would need to look for other exchanges to exchange BTC, XRP, and HBAR into USDT/monero same on Bisq, I guess, but there are some buyers there looking for BTC.

I tried to search, and it seems no non-KYC instant exchange is available nowadays after the closure of eXcH. exchange. You don't have another option, I guess. You also need to exchange XRP and HBAR at a centralized exchange to exchange them into USDT or Monero if you want to use Bisq or RoboSats.

Re: trezor, verify app updates
by
BitMaxz
on 20/07/2025, 19:29:38 UTC
That's the most security practices for crypto users. Every time there's a new app update, you should verify every single update to make sure it is authentic.

The original app you recently verified is only for that installer. So if Trezor release a new update you should verify it because it's a separate file or app.
