Now that I think about it, "repairwallet" via the debug console should do the same thing, and it will be quicker.

I had to fiddle with this a few days ago when the client was doing some bizarre things like complaining I was trying to use already spent coins for a new transaction.

Yes that is exactly what it was doing. However only if I tried to send a large number of coins lets say over 100.
When I send 100 and under at a time it freezes for a few seconds, then the transaction is completed.

I just transfered 193 ORB's to Cryptsy and received the error message "transaction couldnt be completed"
WTF!!! are all my coins gone?Huh?

Have you upgraded to 1.4.0? Any other version will be on a different fork to Cryptsy's.

Starting your client with the -rescan commandline option should recover the unspent coins. You shouldn't need to restore wallet.dat from backup.

Worked like a charm.. thanks again

2 BryceMiner

Judging by the quote you provide transaction was NOT been completed.
At this point it is reflected only in the local wallet.
Just turn off the client and replace wallet.dat by copy from the archive/bacup. And the coin must be in place after it.

What archive/backup are you referring to?

Evidently the 1.8 wallet is mining the wrong blockchain as the payout is 65536.00 when solo mining and most should know that has already been reduced to 32768. So I would suggest not wasting your time and energy (literally) mining this coin until it is fixed. You will not be able to use the millions of coins you have mined so easily. Hate to bust ya bubble for those who've thought they struck gold mining a ridiculous amount of coins at 0.000244137 difficulty.  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

We were mining on wrong blockchains. Thats how we lost the coins.

This coin has seen the last of my hashing power.

2 days of wasted electricity...

Nothing but REJECTS!!.... Waste of time!!

Honestly looks like something fishy is going on behind the scenes.

Im sure someone must have known everyone would loose 1000's of GLD from updating the client, but yet no mention.

I don't like that. Hours of peoples wasted hashing power and electricity which could have been used on something profitable...

Re: [ANN] [CPR] | Copper Bars | Scrypt-Jane | GPU Efficiency JUST DROPPED
by

I was mining perfectly, then all of a sudden, tons of hardware errors.

Any ideas why?

Heres my config for 4 7970 gigiabyte

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
cd C:\Users\RIG\Desktop\CPRMINE
cgminer -o wk1.botpool.net:5333 -u pw -p x --scrypt -I 13 -w 256 -g 2 --thread-

concurrency 8191 --gpu-engine 1042 --gpu-memclock 1500  --auto-fan --temp-target 75 --

temp-overheat 80 --temp-cutoff 85

Probably cgminer. Are you sure you are using the right mining folder?

Intensity needs to be lowered due to N change to get rid of hardware errors... happens on some other scrypt-jane coins as well, depending on which modified cgminer is being used.

This worked ... thanks.. hash rate is down super low....
