James Webb & Bitcoin/ Sending bitcoins to the first alien
by

on 14/07/2022, 07:09:40 UTC
Let's talk a little about the future Grin
Imagine if James Webb discovers many planets that have intelligent life, like us. This can be very exciting Cool
We can exchange information with each other and what can we pay them for this information?

Gold: Gold is certainly a valuable metal and it might be well received on other planets, but these planets are very far away and we cannot send any physical thing "like gold".

Bitcoin BTC: Bitcoin is not a physical thing, we can send it in space. Imagine, we will teach them blockchain technology and then exchange information. We can also use Bitcoin to pay them. Just get the wallet address of an alien and send them your bitcoin! LOL Cheesy

Maybe our grandchildren will use this method. Sending bitcoins to the first alien   Shocked

I looked at the footer section of the site and it's a duplicate of the coin27.com site with the same look (possibly owned by the same people).
I found a slightly more detailed and reasonable review: https://scamosafe.com/coin156-review

Quote
Coin156 is a highly controversial entity! Namely, the scheme is said to be a brand of a Singapore company – BIT MATRIX PTE. LTD., and that may as well be true. However, the entity has been struck off, meaning that BIT MATRIX is no longer a functioning company. Therefore, Coin156 is a brand of a company that doesn’t operate any longer! Needless to say, that’s strong evidence of a scam!

I'll try signing up to test more deeply if I have the chance. Maybe they also have something like this.

WOW! Make sure you do this.
This seems like a big scam.

Obviously, this platform is new and the people behind this are not good at configuring their website, the site is unsecured any platform that deals with money should have a secure environment, checking the traffic they are just starting to generate their traffic flow, which contradicts their claim that they have millions of users in 130 countries that's a big lie.

A very, very big lie.
They are clearly scammers (maybe all over the world) LOL Roll Eyes

What happened::

coin156.com:

The worlds leading digital asset trading platform Provide safe and reliable digital asset trading and asset management services for millions of users in more than 130 countries around the world

Exchange is one of the most important parts of the world of cryptocurrencies. Every trader needs a safe exchange.
But there are new exchanges that have a low trust rating. One of these exchanges is coin156.com.
I do not trust this exchange at all! You ask why? Well, let's look at this exchange together:
The management team of coin156.com platform is hiding his identity on WHOIS and also they claim that this is an old platform. But you know what I found? Click the following link to view the registered date of this website:
https://who.is/whois/coin156.com
I have seen several reviews about this platform and it does not have a good trust rating at all. So don't invest!  Wink

For example, look at this plan:
1.17% - 1.26% daily for 101 days
Well, it's clear that this plan is only designed to deceive users and you will lose your money.
Any business that promises even 1% guaranteed daily smells of scam only

They claim they started the company in 2016,

But whois information shows that the companies' domain was registered just recently.

Code:
Domain: cryptomining-ltd.com
Registrar: PDR Ltd. d/b/a PublicDomainRegistry.com
Registered On: 2021-01-19
Expires On: 2023-01-19
Updated On: 2021-10-10

Absolutely right! They even lied about the launch time of the platform Grin

What happened::

Crypto Mining LTD provides the best conditions for profit on the leased facilities for the cryptocurrency in the era of digital technologies. But is it really so?
The result of my research shows that Cryptomining-ltd.com is a scam project. The trust rating of the cryptomining-ltd.com platform is very low and many people consider this project a scam.
For example, look at this plan:
1.17% - 1.26% daily for 101 days
Well, it's clear that this plan is only designed to deceive users and you will lose your money.

Some other disadvantages of this website:

Website owner information is hidden in WHOIS
This site has many negative comments
This is a young and risky website

Anything that claims guaranteed returns of 8.33% per hour or per day and even per month is a scam, there is nothing that can guarantee such returns, nothing! Seems like they don't even know how much profits you can make, their plans say 200%, just below they claim

Guaranteed profit
Using COINROST you get guaranteed daily profit up to 500% in 24 hours. Minimum investment $10.

On one page minimum is $10 on the other $15, they didn't even bother to check the numbers, after all, they don't care, the usual 3 pages ready-made template scam. What amazes me is how they manage to get exposure so soon after launch, how did you find this one, was it telegram groups spam?

Oh god, just realized, they even managed to trick people into making youtube videos of it?

I totally agree with you. They use the simplest methods to scam.
One of my friends introduced me to this project and I said to myself oh my God! This is an obvious scam.

What happened::

I checked the coinrost.biz trust rating on various platforms and found that it received a meager trust rating.
So I started my research:

This investment platform has been launched with the slogan of Profitable Trusted Innovative Mining
And provides up to 200% in 24 hours - 8.33% per hour (which is very suspicious)
Also, managers using a service to hide their identity on WHOIS.
All contact information and emails are free and most likely fake.

Bitcoin and Ukraine war
by
Daryl_Dixon
on 07/03/2022, 08:46:42 UTC
The bitcoin market has also been affected by growing concerns about Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
But Bitcoin has been falling in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at around $ 37,794.
But the oil situation is quite the opposite. Just look at the price of oil and realize that this war has had a huge impact on the price of oil and safe-haven assets like gold.

But what is the reason for this?

In my opinion, because of the war, most people avoid high-risk assets such as bitcoin and other digital currencies!
+How many wars have Bitcoin experienced so far?
-Nothing
So it is natural that most people, because they do not know the reaction of bitcoin, turn to other assets such as gold and oil. The escalation of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia will also cause more fear among investors.

Re: Become a Legendary

A few posts above are all nicely explained, and then a Legendary member claims the following :

In terms of activity, you need to have at least 1,000. You can only gain 14 every couple of weeks provided you also make 14 posts within that period of time. In terms of merit, you need 1,000 as well. You can do the math out of those numbers.

Thanks for pointing this out! My apologies. It should have been 775 not 1,000. The 1,000 was meant for the merit. My bad!

I have already edited my post to avoid misleading others.

How long does it take to become a Legendary?
  • Darker45: In terms of activity, you need to have at least 1,000.

OP, please correct this. This is wrong. The minimum number of activity that a user should have to qualify for the legendary rank is 775. I got it all wrong.

Please change the OP post as well as this might mislead other users here. Thanks!

Sure Wink

World War III & Bitcoin
by
Daryl_Dixon
on 24/02/2022, 05:26:20 UTC
A Hours ago, Russia launched its missile attacks on Ukraine. Following this war, the price of oil has reached $ 100 and Bitcoin has fallen sharply.
At the time of writing, the price of Bitcoin is $ 34,999. I think buying and selling in this situation is very risky.
If the United States goes to war with Russia, more allies like China and Iran will definitely come to Russia's aid, and that means starting a world war! Bitcoin has never been in a world war and we do not know how it will react to this situation!

  • What do you think?
  • Will we wait for more falls?
  • Will the US and Russia start World War III?

Wow, guys you really helped me a lot   Cheesy

In fact, I have a lot of information and I have a lot of motivation to continue.
Well, from now on, I will start with a constructive post. I want to write your useful tips as a list. So if a new member reads this topic in the future, he can use this list:

As a new member, how long do I have to wait to gain the trust of the members of the forum?

  • Rikafip: That will more depend on your actions and not on the time spent here.
  • Darker45: I guess there is no time frame for gaining trust. I suppose trust is given by members here not according to rank but according to knowledge or contribution.
  • cryptoaddictchie: Trust has no basis when regard to times. But of course you needed a long time before you get recognize and be trusted by community.
  • mk4: You don't need the trust of other people.
  • KingsDen: You do not need to be a legendary member to be trusted in the community.
  • YOSHIE: if you trade or buy and sell Items on this forum you gain trust very fast.

What kind of posts should I leave to progress faster?

  • PrivacyG: Start writing tutorials or informative articles.
  • Rikafip: First of all, start posting regularly, and if possible avoid altcoin section (or at least don't make majority of your posts there) as its a cesspool that is been avoided by merit sources.
  • Darker45: Constructive ones I suppose, those which contribute to knowledge-building among users here.
  • cryptoaddictchie: it means quality post.
  • mk4: Nothing specific, really.
  • KingsDen: Most of your posts are in Altcoin and bounty applications, you may need to change your posting habit and boards to grow faster.
  • YOSHIE: the post you should leave like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2909527;sa=showPosts;start=20

How long does it take to become a Legendary?

  • examplens: First, you need to reach ~1000 activity. Max, you can earn is 14 activity on bi-weekly (you should need to post about 14 posts in two weeks to get that). (somewhere around less than 3 years)
  • jackg: Yeah it takes a few years to become legendary (around 2-5 afaik).
  • isaac_clarke22: There ain't definite time to become legendary. I recall a lot of Hero Members in Meta and Reputation boards waiting their ranks to turn into Legendary at any moment.
  • Rikafip: Approximately 3 years.
  • Darker45: In terms of activity, you need to have at least 1,000.
  • Magicalking: Legendary member is two years journey of regular posting to make the needed activity.
  • KingsDen: Your journey to legendary may not happen as fast as you wish.
  • YOSHIE: System (Merit) that answers this question.

This list will be updated
