I still have to do with acceptance. Crypto is still very much in its early stage. There is still more adoption to be done and this depends on how much information about people get about the blockchain technology. We will soon get there; when people will have confidence in crypto.
I guess, In my own understanding, I will feel comfortable using BTC if all stores or markets accepts bitcoin as payment. It will become very comfortable if our Government legalized bitcoin and they can now control scammers who keep on spreading negative thoughts about bitcoin. Yes they can be hacked. Hearing the news about exchanges been hacked, what more these wallet are more likely to be hacked. Less news of wallet hacking simply because hackers are still focus on bigger exchange. So, better to improve the security features of every aspect of cryptocurrency industry.
If we will not secure our private key or password there is a big possibility that it might be hacked. Sad to say it is very hard to retrieve that again, since it has no third party involve in crypto world. Nobody you can run to, no one you can blame on it. Government has no control to your money in crypto so its our responsibility to take care of it, to make it safe from hackers.who says it's useless ?? bitcoin is very useful for the progress of the world in the modern era now ...

That is ridiculously wrong, bitcoin is not useless. Those people who don't trust and believe with bitcoin are those people who have no knowledge after all. They are just making false advertisement to make negative thoughts about bitcoin. They are not aware how bitcoin are useful to the improvement of the economic growth. Bitcoin helps unemployment problem after all.because with the existence of bitcoin makes it easy to do all kinds of transactions ...
In my opinion crypto Is the first step of future because It is the wonderful technology which can change the world by it's payment system or you can called it digital future.
It is an opportunity given to those people who are suffering from financial crisis. With great knowledge about crypto this one gives chances to earn extra income and if by means of luck crypto can save from poverty. Crypto can be an asset to keep for emergency purposes. The forum itself can help people who were here by earning money, I think that's the alternate solution to help other people that unemployed or jobless. Yes, giving a donation is a way of helping others but it is not for a long-term is temporarily given those who want's to donate. For sure if you asking donation others will believe in you especially on an internet. They think that you are scammers that trying to steal a fund from them. personally it is very convenient for me to send money to my friends in other countries! they get them very quickly and the commission is cheap! That's all it says! Bitcoin is a new digital money. We all still live in the digital age ?!))) bitcoin is rapidly moving and developing the entire world economy! Paper money gradually goes to the background, after bitcoin.
Off course comparing the two, Bitcoin is better than banknotes, since bitcoin itself are having a faster transactions in terms of money exchange with very low fees, while banknotes is a type of negotiable promissory note and considered legal tender along with coins. They make up the bearer forms of all modern money. If you don't care about the product/service then don't invest. Projects without a real/innovative product behind will just vanish when crypto market will recover. There is no more room for poor/scam projects with no added value. People started to understand this and they don't invest in any ICO as in 2017.
In my own opinion, I am very particular of the product upon joining and choosing a good ICO because I think the success of that ICO will matter if the product is worth investing for. An eye catcher that is sure to become a succesful project at the end.There are various investment targets, there are those who succeeded and those who failed. Unfortunately there are no successful investments for every investment object. I think that those who succeed in investing do not know the solution. However, their success,it was simply luck.
That is how reality hurt as sometimes, not all your plans suits on what you expected to happen but you have to be open minded in that possibilities.Investing is a risk that you must face on, there are beautiful outcome or good profit and the end but there are also big chances of losing money and be ready for it. You must know personally of what you are investing for and if you are open minded to accept the possibilities of failures. Even though the market has been falling for a long time now, we must be sure that in the future the market will continue to rise, even though we are currently losing a lot of money and we have to resist selling our own coins, because we are not greedy and have huge losses.
I'm still positive at this moment, it never comes up in my mind to quit, not at all. I know everything will be fine, considering the fact that the price keeps changing as it is volatile and never constant. Quitting is not a solution in every worst situation, instead make it as a motivation. Trust is very important, take all the risk and believe that positive outcome will follow. No other reason why we spend time in bitcoin. It because we want to earn money. There some people that are doing full time and part time doing bitcoin.
Yes, money is the main reason why we spend time in bitcoin and no other else. If not because of money we will not waste our time here. Maybe there are some reason like wanted to learn more techniques and strategy but making profit is the top reason of everything.This is such an easy thing to overlook, especially to new people getting into crypto. We hear so many stories about sites getting hacked that its not worth the risk, personally I store mine using a ledger nano s and it works perfectly for my use case

Cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin included, were never meant to be stable. They were never meant to replace traditional currencies entirely and they are certainly not moving towards any such goal, now or in the future.
It makes me laugh when I'm realizing my promises to myself to not gamble again whenever I'm losing in all in bet. After that when I have bitcoin again, I would think to gamble it first and ending up losing all of it

For one very simple reason....TAX, all the examples you mention are taxed at various rates (depending on your country) until they find a way to control crypto in order for governments to be able to tax it then they won't legitimise crypto.

Well it's sad to.know that you wasted your time and effort for nothing.
But remember that failure it a part of success, just be more careful next time. Research more about the project before you invest in it.

Are there any statistics on how gambling with Bitcoin (and crypto generally) develops? I would be interested if it increases or decreases. From time to time there are articles on media like Coindesk but I'm not sure if you can believe the data.
I imagine that gambling with bitcoin as opposed to fiat currency is more risky because the proxy of a 'digital currency' doesn't hold the same mental weight value. That was the case for me anyway, because I could justify that I was only losing 'magical internet coins' instead of real money. Unfortunately, this all happened back in 2014, so my magical internet money would eventually be worth over 100x paper money.
Well, I would somehow wish that bitcoin will become more stable and lesser risk in terms of investment as volatility is part of cryptocurrency movement that everyone should consider. I wish that btc should also have an upgrade in it's blockchain technology much better than the rest so that it will continue to be the number one cryptocurrency in the world.
Hopping for bitcoin to be more secure and safe among hackers. I wish someday it will accept and legalize nationwide for better and convenient use of exchange and also having BTC an own ATM machine. For me i dont think so its the main reason because addiction is a result of excessive gambling, when you dont have control already and cannot stop the activity. In the beginning it is just a trial and fun but in the long run it will push you to keep doing until you reach to addiction, others just makes an excuse and believe its because of loneliness, but for me it is a choice at first.
I think gambling addiction is the set of mind who has an extreme and eagerness to earn money and bring big profit for there family. It can be a good form of relaxation or fun and stress reliever. In my own self, I do gambling for money, to win and have income, because I'm not lonely nor unsatisfied. We must try to learn from the mistakes of others, but if this does not work out and does not work out, then we need to learn from our own mistakes.

In every investment, one is exposed to some certain amount of risk. Engaging in bitcoin is very risky, but one has to take a wise look and study the system well before diving in.
Risk are every where, If you want to achieve something or you are dreaming of something always consider to face the consequences that you might acquire. Engaging with bitcoins are risky indeed considering the fact of its volatility and we can't predict its up and down. So we can't really say that BTC is always ending a success story, but how to know if it is a success if your not taking the risk?
