Oh, I'm following you but it seems that your words don't follow you as and when you say them. You said that you have a bank problem but now you don't. You said that you have a "genuine" bank account. Why did you say that, there was a possibility not to? You say that you have been in the BTC "game" long enough but you don't know how and where to cash out. Plus, that you consider cash deposit the most secure way. And I repeat. The most secure for who? For the depositor that needs to put his name and pass KYC or for you to look legit? Trust me, I'm more than chill dude. On the other hand, you aren't. So, instead of playing the victim, tell the truth and stop derailing from facts. You have issues with banks, fact. You need specific amounts of cash deposits because you have specific limitations based on your bank account, fact. You don't have a "home farm", fact. You can't justify and explain the origin of "your" coins, fact. Plus you are a newbie account with no history, no posts, nothing. So answer this question alone: Why would someone trust you and get dragged into a pure shady mess?

struggling to sell btc in uk, banks keep closing my accounts down, used 2 big exchanges, banks want proof of bitcoin/mining, when they get it, "we dont accept funds from bitcoins" and closes my account.
Can you name these banks? Closing an account because the money is from crypto sales, doesn't sound accurate.

Looking for huge rep traders ONLY, must be willing to sell in small amounts regually (e.g. 2k a month) for a genuine bank account or cash deposit preferred, I am in no rush, security is my goal.
So do you have a bank account? And cash deposit is the most secure way? For who exactly? I'm getting confused or is the Christmas mood...

anyone in uk or close that can repair s17 pro control boards? I have one that might be dead, and another that is a s17 firmware, and I cant flash it atall, it wont budge, I have spent weeks trying everything and I cant do it (no seriously, lots of third party sorftware, al sorts of cards/formats/sizes/different power cycles etc...) I need it flashed with s17pro and braiins installed (braiins over s17 will not detect s17 pro hashboards) or thrown in the bin.

rather than start a new thread I would just carry on this one, so i bought another board, was sold as a s17+ I planned to change firmware to s17pro, huge mistake on my part,
firstly on removing the old board, there were soldered wires on the back with one loose, so someone been modding it, but I digress, this new board boots fine, but will not flash any thing.
first starting doing a hard sd card flash, it just hangs with both light on, then I tried using the upgrade firmware on the miner, only to get to "cannot continue no signature"
anyone know how to change a s17+ board into a s17 pro board?

yeah, so it did take the s17pro firmware for some reason (did not change anything just tried it again), but cant get past this screen, so unless anyone got any tips then I am just gonna assume I bricked it.

Are you sure you flashing it right? What size sdcard you have?Can you try Vnish firmware instead (awesomeminer of Asic.to)
Also try to reset the miner, unplug the power cable, press IP report button, keep it pressed while you power the miner, don't let go of the button for 10 seconds, release. Try to to login again.
well, I think so, I have been able to install t17 stuff ok, I have a 1gb one and a 4gb one, both been scanned for errors, I cant try Vnish as its not a standalone, I have to get the original firmware on then remove SHH before I can go anywhere near that or braiins os.

pretty hard to follow what your problem is, but if I understand correctly, your main problem is that you don't know which miner model you actually have, and now there is a chance that you flashed the wrong firmware so whatever shows on the webpage could be inaccurate, one easy way to solve this would be to disable the gear and compare the hashboard to the other ones you have, all of these 17 series models differ in the chip count, so take one hashboard out and count the chips.
T17 has 30 chips / board
S17 pro has 48 chips / board
S17+ has 65 chips / board
S17e has 135 chips / board (ya 135 no typos)
So ya, figure out your miner type first then come back.

I have a pool of both s17 pro's and t17's and I dont know which one it is, my end goal is I want braiins os on it, but as far as I know it has to have stock bitmain firmware on it? I downloaded a firmware for all s and t versions and it showed up as T17 on the main backend screen, so I downloaded the correct firmware direct from bitmain and I cant log on to backend, I get to the user and pass, but root/root just refreshes the page with no error message, I googled in the product number from the side of the machiene (stickers badly worn some missing) and it said it was a s17 pro, so I did try that firmware, same results, so I loaded back up this dodgy firmware again and tried to install braiins over that as root/root worked, and I just get "this miner is not supported" fans at 100% through all the flashed and firmware changes.
how do I get this miner stock again? any ideas, short of buying another mainboard ready flashed?

how many units are there.
if you have under ten pieces this is easy enough.
if you have 50 or 60 pieces it will be harder to track it all down.
yeah sorry I was not clear, this is just one unit I had on my shelf and just got round to looking at it, I installed hiveos on it (this was my main for all units) I am now moving over to braiins os and was trying it on this spare system, all my other units are running fine on hive, but I am worried that if I try and revert them back it will brick the system, so for clarity, I am just having issues with this one for now.
