After making a post, at which point is it best to have upvotes start coming in? My idea is to have around 5 upvotes per hour instead of 50 coming in all at once. What do you guys think?
This sound's interesting. I think this is a safe approach which makes it look like you are getting organic upvotes.
What payment methods do you accept? I've got some BTC and Eth sitting in my wallet. Do you accept crypto? How does it work?
I purchased upvotes earlier today and saw 3 payment methods including crypto. Didn't try it though since I picked Paypal.
Do Bitcoin payments now get instant confirmations? Sadly, I wasn't able to convert my BTC to Eth before its price went severely down. Otherwise, how long before Bitcoin payments get confirmed nowadays?
I think it still takes about an hour on average to complete confirmations. Nowadays, Paypal is still faster although with high fees...
I don't think Paypal fees would matter though since isn't it the seller who shoulders it?

Since you are looking for something passive, then holding is the only passive option in your list; everything else needs your active involvement. On the other hand, the highest rewards you can gain are from ICO investing. However, you need to be extra careful with your pick. Speaking of good projects, I've been eyeing one called MenloOne that's going to launch as a decentralized ICO listing marketplace where its CEO mentioned about having solved the various issues most investors fear in ICOs. link to their site and Whitepaper: https://www.menlo.one/

Re: How do you find good ICOs?

For me a good project has a good team, is something that is useful to many, and has a supportive organic community. That said, I found eloncity, WePower, and Menlo One as the best ICO candidates so far.
for now I suggest not to invest in ico, wait 1 more month until the bitcoin market recovers. many ico are successful but when entering the market the price will be below ico
I think its a normal thing on ICO's as soon as their coins/tokens hits the exchange bounty hunters are dumping their share creating a spike on its price. As long as the team behind the project is competent enough there's nothing to worry about that. Anyway, there's also an ICO that will soon hit the exchange they are called menlo but they have extended their ICO end date.
Has their ICO already started? I thought it was supposed to be a month ago but I don't see an option to participate in their website except for getting whitelisted..
@OP try researching about menlo.one their ICO marketplace platform is a nice concept. It will help new and old ICO investors prevent scams and fraud from fake tokens and coins by creating a community where valuable contributions are rewarded.
decentralized apps will soon become mainstream and I think it's thanks to Menlo One for taking the big leap of faith with their decentralized ICO marketplace.

at the end of the day, it depends if a token has intrinsic value which gives investors confidence to hold on to it. Projects like Menlo One rarely get attention here, but I am very much convinced that it will very soon gain mass adoption being the first ICO marketplace ever created. This is a link to an interview of Menlo One's CEO discussing details of the project https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rw1QBpBYE6o

Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success?
by

Even if the number of telegram members is manipulated or not, I don't think this determines the success of an ICO. I think what really matters is the project itself and how unique it is compared to hundreds of different projects it is competing with. That being said, you guys should check out Boltcoin, Menlo One, and Aethion. I think these have some potential in gaining massive adoption in the mid to long term.
There are too many ICOs currently in the market, so we can see that many people freely choose according to their predictions and each is a different prediction. By tooibanj should find yourself a potential ICO would be better.
I read a few threads talking about a token sale this July for an ICO marketplace where we can view and buy all its listed ICOs within a single platform. Has anyone heard of Menlo One and its team? I checked this interview video they linked and thought was pretty interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rw1QBpBYE6o Any thoughts?
Both Aitheon and Menlo are my top picks for this year's ICOs with high potential. I'm not even selling them after their ICO period since I truly believe that both tokens have real value. The mother of all growth will be none other than Ethereum, although I'm not sure if it's going to be within 2018. Just my speculation. =D
I think the market will continue to fall until August. I think it is the impact of the World Cup. The World Cup has a huge economic impact on the world. Especially for funding. The World Cup is the largest casino in the world.
People always try to find the reasons of market falls, I remember it was Chinese New Year this January, now you think it has something to do with the World Cup. It has absolutely zero connection, cryptocurrencies simply become less popular among average Joes, and that's it.
I think the market has been on a bear run for a nearly a year already. On a lighter note, it's a good time to buy cheap and save up for good ICOs launching this year like Menlo One, Aitheon, and Eloncity. This may seem like a bad year for most investors who are stuck at a loss, but definitely good for adding to our positions.
So far I have not encountered merchants with independent payment gateways since I usually see CoinPayments. In my opinion, payment gateways are necessary to act as a secure and trusted middle-man for transactions especially for websites that aren't that well known.
I agree. Payment gateways, especially trusted ones easily help gain a customer's trust which increases the sales potential for smaller websites.

I believe that we will see days of stability in the future if all this controversy surrounding crypto will end. One good way to do so is for the govts to come up with a system that will regulate all crypto transactions.

I agree with most other suggestions here. You should STOP and re-think your strategy since you are clearly not yet skilled to trade in that magnitude. Yes it's harsh, but we need to face reality and learn from our mistakes to grow.

Regulations will help keep a certain standard and protect the users as well as investors in case of any negative experiences such as technical issues or scams.

I think Ripple will be a good alternative to Bitcoin since it is backed by banks which means that it will be widely accepted as a payment method soon.

A perfect life is one without any conflict with your loved ones and friends. It's still possible to encounter tragedies and death, but its the good memories that count.

Bitcoin was never stable to begin with. It takes the stairs up and takes the elevator right back down. It just so happens that price is consolidatiing after the dump since people are unsure of what might happen next.

I would say the best and most legitimate way in earning money is by trading in the stock market since every move you make is taxed. Another way is to trade Cryptos. It's pretty similar but you are not taxed...

I have to admit that I agree with this... I have not been able to use my Bitcoin for payments or transferring to friends because the transaction fees are simply too high. I am hopeful that this will be fixed soon.
