Oh and can I ask please... All my coins are deposited now.  Do I have to leave the wallet running for 12 days?  Or can I close it from time to time when I need my PC to do other work?

Also as far is mining...  I mined for 4 hours and got nothing.  What is the difficulty now?
I mined at CPU speed of about 300H/s...  Nothing in 4 hours... Should I go back to pool mining again?
Or stick with it and try to nail a block? What are the odds of a block today?

Cool thanks!  I got it...  The video no longer matches the wallet software but it still made sense.  I get it now.
I just deposited all my coins for 12 days just to see what happens. 

I mined these coins back in April when a pool was up and I felt these were worth mining.  As you know things have changed since then.  I decided to look at coins I was not following anymore and recently and decided to have a look again.  THIS seems like a fun coin and now I am more interested than I was last year!  It's an interesting coin....  So I am going to play again now...

Again thanks for the explanation and video...  Lets see what happens in 12 days as this is new to me vs. litecoin and others I have been playing with...

OK back up and synced....

For those that are having this issue:
1) delete the blockchain and leave only your wallet file.
2) Start ROI coin wallet.
3) It may still say "No block source available" so do this> Help>Debug Window>Console and type addnode roi.suprnova.cc add
4) It should start working and will take about 30 minutes to download and sync the entire chain.


OK so can someone help me out?
What is the deposit thing all about? 
What address do I use to deposit?  My own? 
Any recommendations for how much and how long?

Maybe not your same problem but I am running 2 moonlanders off a 4 port hub for a year now with a 8A PSU.  Recently started getting the same thing.  Turned out the contacts in the hubs USB ports got "tarnished" or something. Possibly due to the high amp draw and the cheap port contacts used in it. A simple bump to the desk or cords would cause enough vibration to cause the same thing to happen.  My hub runs pretty hot right at the ports too...  The moonlanders seem to transfer some heat to the ports or due to amperage they just get hot.

Anyway I cleaned up the contacts on both the ports and the moonlanders. In the hub ports I used a X-acto knife to bend the contacts up (they flattened over time again possibly due to the heat) so when plugging back in the moonlanders made solid contact. Problem solved.....

Yes, I deleted the blockchain and restarted and now it is syncing pretty quickly.

Yes I left it running for an hour.  Same thing.  I reinstalled the wallet and got the firewall pop up and I allowed it.  Same thing.

OK So I have the latest wallet 1.2.0 and I have 3.46 of coin in my wallet.  Have not mined or opened the wallet in about 5 months.
Now when I do it says I am 23 weeks behind and to the left it says "No Block Source Available".

What is wrong?

Sucks the difficulty of Litecoin has gone up so much.
When I started I January with 2 Moonlanders I was getting .00064 a day not it's down to .00044

I got mine running on the new Windows update using the older generic silicon labs drivers.  
Uninstall the drivers and re-install these from the web site  v6.7.5.
They will no longer be listed in device manager under COM ports and "moonlander2".  
They will be listed as Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COMx)

I just installed the Windows 10 update 1803 and after install the Moonlander2 drivers did not work.
In device manager it listed the Moonlanders but had a triangle.
BFGMiner when run says "No devices found".
I tried reinstalling them, removing them and reinstalling but to no avail. The driver Preinstaller program fails with an error.
When I try to manually install the drivers, the error says INF file invalid.

I downloaded the v6.7.5 version from the driver page and they worked!
In device manager under COM ports it no longer lists them as Moonlander2 and instead lists them as Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COMx).
BFGimner now sees them

Just a tip should you run into this.

New to this coin.  I have mined about 10 coins with my Moonlander 2.
How do you stake your coins?  Just leave the wallet running?
Not interested right now in a staking pool as I just want to know how it works?

You can put a command in the command line that turns on the log.  In the log it will state how many cores are good.  63 is the correct number.  Check that stick and see how many cores are working.

It is 0-63 so it should say 63 not 64.

I have a 6 amp brick PS running 2 MLD's.  It's handling it fine as the voltage on the buss of the hub holds at 5.1v.
It's possible the 5V has ripple or noise since it's just a cheap brick PS.
The error rate is related to clock speed as at 832 I am below 1% error rate.  at 852 it's over 20% error rate.
Even if I try this with one stick same thing. Core set to 8.2V doesn't help.

Yes I set mem voltage as low as I could go per the info on page one until it would not hash.  Then went up till it did.  Running .76 memory as I recall.

I might get a more solid clean PS and see.

I have 5 boxes all mining.  The Rockchip boxes do better because they have more cores and faster clocks.  The AMLogic boxes are not so good at it. I stripped the ROMs to nothing (apps and services) and I get about 40 H/s per box mining XMR.  It's not much really but as you know these are super low on power and I just leave them running non-stop.  They add to my PC's hashrate in the end.  The old boxes would basically be sitting collecting dust till now
