By the time it will be available to general public it might be very expensive to invest in ICNX.

For public release you won't need to have ICN in order to use the platform.
For beta access you need to either be on the beta list (was open for registration back in December), or an ICO investor

They said liquidity issues were already solved for ICNX by instituting liquidity thresholds for asset inclusion in ICNX and imposing dynamic buying limits based on current market situation
They are still working in the liquidity of the assets related with the DAMP funds, as long as their fund managers will create and follow their own rules... I guess it will take them some time... No news as far as I know...

There is no planned announcement on the 9th guys. It's just wild speculation. All that is happening on Feb. 9th is some of the Iconomi team will be at a Blockchain conference. Don't expect anything.
They'll be there with a presentation. The way they phrased it makes me think at most it'll be an announcement of the launch date. Of course I could be wrong and they could ninja launch at any point, but that'd be pretty shady I think.
Attending a conference is different from presenting there. I don't have a feeling there will be any surprise announcement, I think the team don't want to commit themselves to any date until the platform is ready for use. Thanks the dumpers are out of the picture now and the price has found new floor around 41ksat

Mi consejo, vende la mitad de los BTC, paga ese 27% y quédate a vivir en España que es donde mejor se vive. El BTC va a seguir subiendo así que seguirás teniendo una buena inversión. Y otra opción, es sacarte la tarjeta de XAPO que se puede utilizar en todos los sitios que aceptan Master Card.
Si teneis alguna duda más concreta, soy abogado y estoy investigando constantemente este mundillo, así que me servirá para estudiar casos que no se me hayan ocurrido a mi.

There will be 2 big pumps in 2017. First one is coming soon. Next couple of weeks an official announcement will read "Iconomi.index released - Accounts open for registration'. They said things will 'flow' after that. So few major announcements will be made between now and March:
1- "Iconomi.index released - Accounts open for registration '$.50-$1'
2- " Fiat deposits now accepted $1+
3- " ICN and ICNX available for trading on following major exchanges" $1-$3
4- "First dividends payout is on the way - move your ICN off exchange to receive dividend" $5 briefly then correction back to $3 once first dividend has been paid.
In March-May, price should be stable around $2-$3. It will go sideways for a couple of months, with a few dumps. A clear cup and handle formation will show on the charts. Then June/July Following announcements:
1- OFM platform released - create your own fund bitches - will pump to ATH and find resistance around $5, this will be the handle part of the cup and handle formation
2- At the same time....Big PR campaign, Forbes, International Business times, even playboy will publish about ICN, start of new rally $5-$7

It's hard to predict what the ATH will be during second rally. $10 is minimum and that is conservative... FOMO doesn't care about logic, and it doesn't care that ICN used to be $.20-$.40. It doesn't care that the price now is too high based on the value the platform is generating or the number of users or the dividends that you receive. FOMO does not give a fuck. It ends when there are no more buyers....Price is irrelevant. It can end at $10 or $100, no one can predict this and it depends how much new money is pumped from old economy.
Anyway... most people here will get excited and sell too early, buy back in, then sell early again etc... The smart people will HOLD and simply buy more ICN during the dumps.

You know we could have a 3th pulse of FOMO (not sure in 2017) - USA investors are allowed to invest/create funds on OFM. If/When this happens it will be after OFM is operational for some time already, meaning it will have big exposure. Then we will see a real pump, USA market is a big thing.

Good dreams guys, 3 usd is impossible, they have only invested golem right now, they need to invest more to profit, and golem is a loss, current is not even in ICO price.
Golem is not in loss I think, the ICO price was about 1300 sat but then the ETH price was double than now.

Iconomi has only gone on 1 decent exchange and then there is the American news that came out too. Add the delay and subsequent dump before it went public, and you have a growing list of negatives. This is before anything is even launched. Not great.
On the flip side, despite all this, the price is strong and if you invested in the ico, you have done well. Anyone who has held from the ico might as well hold until everything is launched now. Just a pain to have funds tied up for more time now without much gain.

yes its back. yesterday i wanted to get out and buy back when it hit below 25k but changed my mind because the rest had already dumped. so i just hold. seeing how it jump back to 30k in a single day is pretty interesting. none of the coins i've followed before has done this.

No, if BTC (in USD) goes up, ICONOMI (in USD) should go UP.
ICONOMI profits come from crypto assets of the funds in the platform. As long as BTC IMO will be the biggest porcentage of the funds assets in the plaform, then the profits will allmost be referenced to BTC.

So one of the best things about investing in ICONOMI is that the value of the token (in USD) increases with the value (IN USD) of the assets of the funds in the platform, even though the total assets managed (in crypto coin) do not increase!
So if both the total assets in the funds (in crypto coins) and the value (in USD) of the cryptocoins increase... then you obtain a GEOMETRIC increase in the price of an ICN token (in USD)

Although I sold half of my ICN few days back and planned to hold remaining. But this episode is real bad deal. This happened with me few time and I think I didn't learn anything

This is not just another copy cat of ethereum or something that has 50/50 potential.With right execution of this project it will be next big thing in crypto and changing dates due bugs is right decision, this is how big things are created.
Tomorrow it would be disaster, just think of projects with bugs, it's like epic fail. I and my team are creating startup, we are REDOING it 5th time and it's almost year of development/changes. If we would launch 1st version, we would fail like everyone else who does similar project. Everyone wants build platform, no matter in which niche, it's hard always. I learned it by myself.
Success comes with patience and right decisions. Those who never did big projects will not understand that, but ICONOMI is one of those projects which will be success only with right execution!
So smart people will hold and will not let the paranoia dominate their minds. This is gonna be bigger than Ethereum. So do your research, try understand what these people are doing and you will never ever sell again!
I personally did 2 week research before my 5 figure investment. I own 6 figures of coins and will not sell. Team is legit, project is legit, execution is right!
ICN is not a simple pump coin.

Ok, lets do very simple maths:
With an average 3% management fee for the "Digital Asset Arrays". Let's suppose that 1% goes to ICONOMI and 2% goes to the fund manager.
Its clear that the 1% of 200 million USD could mean aprox. 2 million USD of gross earnings.
With these numbers with:
0.5 USD / token mkt cap 50.000.000 PER = 25
1 USD / token mkt cap 100.000.000 PER = 50
5 USD / token mkt cap 500.000.000 PER = 250
10 USD / token mkt cap 1.000.000.000 PER = 500
As long as ICONOMI is a new high/fast growing bussiness: 50 < PER < 250 ; my guess is that if the 200 USD million in funds objective of the devs is reached, by the end of 2017 each token should be between 1 and 5$; 3 to 15 times todays token price!.
Of course there will be other sources of income (minor than management fees), but there will be expenses too, so I have considered they will counteract between them..
