As the block reward goes down miners will make more from transaction fees. And BTC is divisible down to 8 decimal places so effectively there are much more than 21 million units available.

So in other words, the fees we see today are CHEAP compared to what we can anticipate in the future.

That's the problem with proof of work:  if it takes $50 worth of energy to process a transaction, somewhere, somebody's going to have to pay for it. There's no getting around that economic reality.

My story is very simple:

I deposited about $400 worth of BCH.  I saw the transaction get confirmed. It's up to 692 confirmations at this point.

It never once showed up in my account as an incoming transaction.  I most assuredly sent it to the right address.

Multiple emails to their support are ignored.

Meanwhile others claim that they can deposit, play, and withdraw without problem.

I don't know if it's a select-scam, or just buggy, but either way I would stay away.

This site officially turned scam, about 5-6 days ago people started to complain about the none processed with drawls in the chat room.
I made a with drawl 4 days ago of 175 mB to my wallet, the transaction hung up on the network and after 3 days it was "pruned" and the money returned to pocket dice.
Yep, it was a scam, it continued to scam, and lately the IP address simply doesn't return anything whatsoever. Call it an exit scam, call it what you will, just stay away. If they had any plan on coming back they would at least make an announcement, but they are just silently leaving with whatever funds they had.

I wish I could say it isn't true but look at this screen snapshot.  I deposited about 1 bitcoin, lost almost all of it.  So now I'm done playing, I'm asking for 0.22 back.  It's been 15 days and waiting.   First they say "it will happen quickly", then they say "sorry for the delay", then "supposedly in the next few days."  Now they simply ignore my correspondence entirely.

Screen-snap of my withdrawal set to "manual" for two weeks: https://i.imgur.com/6wzbY3G.png

Pity, they used to be the most fun and easy site.  Now they simply accept deposits and ignore you when you try to withdraw.

Pocketdice.io : withdrawals turned off for weeks.

In this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703265.0 is a lot of kvetching that the long established pocketdice.io has suddenly turned scam.  I'm here to tell you that it's true.

Here's my experience:  I deposited about 1 bitcoin, lost most of it, and now I'm asking for 0.222 back.

You'd think they'd give it to me, right?  But not.  They say that my withdrawal is set to "manual" and must be manually reviewed before releasing the funds.  Days go by, and days turn to weeks, and I demand an explanation.  At first they say "It will happen quickly, sorry for the delay" — then they say "it supposedly will be within the next few days" and now they simply don't reply to my support requests whatsoever.

IMO they are either exit scamming, or have been hacked, or both.  You are insane to deposit money into pocketdice.io.    It's simply preposterous to think that they are running a legitimate business while treating customers this way.

Screen snap evidence showing my withdrawal hanging for 15 days and counting:  https://imgur.com/a/YxEsZ
