upvotes team, do you have an option to set the pace or interval in between upvotes? I would like to make sure that upvotes that come in don't look manipulated.

I'm a regular customer at upvotes.io and usually just do 10 or 25 upvotes to see if they were legit. I tried their 100 upvotes (with mix of downvotes) package recently and found that they have a new option where we can choose the pace of how upvotes are delivered. Just awesome.

Re: Should I invest to Ripple?
by

on 13/08/2018, 11:30:06 UTC
Yes, Ripple is a centralized and in a way banker's coin. But this also makes it a less risky investment. If you are a genuine fan of decentralization, then maybe this coin is not for you. But if like majority of the people, you are in for long term profits, then you should definitely invest in Ripple. The truth is that Ripple is making a great progress in terms of business deals, new partnerships etc. Private and public banks of many countries are testing Ripple blockchain. You don't have to invest all in Ripple, but you can use it to diversify your crypto assets.

thank you for the insight.. I wish to invest in Ripple but now, I have learned not to go all in to be safe.

Re: What cryptocurrency should I buy for USD 1000?

Is it possible to invest about 300-500 USD Gradually in an ICO? I'm planning to set aside a small amount per month..or does ICO investing require large amounts at once? I'm planning to buy menlo tokens and slowly invest in ICOs they list every payday if possible.

I think KYC verification is inevitable we will have to accept that kind of things in order for cryptocurrency to move forward. There are ways though to mitigate fraud and fear on giving our information, it is by ensuring that the site we will be submitting our info with is safe and secure. Also there are platform right now that handles KYC verifications, wherein you can have your information encrypted on their platform and submit it to any sites you'de like to participate with, one example of them is menlo.one.

Sounds like a brilliant way to keep your information safe especially when risking your money and identification on shady but promising projects.. When is Menlo One going live? Looks like it's not yet fully functional at this time.

I've never heard of an ICO marketplace before. Is Menlo One the first ever ICO marketplace created? All I know is that icobench and icorating, etc only review and rate ICOs.

Choosing ICO depends on the ability to analyze your project and experience, many based on feelings. So you can learn how to analyze yourself to choose the best ICO.

I really think we can make lotsa money in ICOs but we need to look out for scams which we sometimes really can't predict until it happens. That being said, Menlo One's token sale this July is perfect timing imo since it will serve as a token for their ICO platform aiming to provide an easy way for retail investors to invest as well as find out which tokens deserve funding. Here's a video by KoreanJew's interviewing Menlo One's CEO about the project and this guys seems legit https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=884&v=Rw1QBpBYE6o Anyone here interested in this project?

Re: Is NEO still worth investing in?
by

In my opinion, NEO is a great option. I have put such coin into my portfolio. It is called the “Chineese Ethereum” and I think it has all the potential to become top altcoin.

I think tokens such as Aitheon, Menlo One and Neo have high potential. This may seem like a bad year for most investors who are stuck at a loss, but definitely good for adding to our positions in the mentioned tokens especially for Menlo since it's still about to launch its token sale this coming July.

Re: Paybear Token plans for an ICO
by

So far I have not encountered merchants with independent payment gateways since I usually see CoinPayments. In my opinion, payment gateways are necessary to act as a secure and trusted middle-man for transactions especially for websites that aren't that well known.

I agree. Payment gateways, especially trusted ones easily help gain a customer's trust which increases the sales potential for smaller websites.

What's awesome about Paybear is that their fee stays the same whether you send $1 or $1000. The more money you spend, the cheaper they are if we compare it with Paypal, stripe, etc.

Aren't they currently in the beta stage? Will these fees change (be more expensive) in the future when they go live?

Based on their guide, fees are currently set to 0 for now since they are still on beta. Once they go live, I think that they will start charging more or less .19 cents per transaction. lol

Whoever is saying the Bitcoin is a scam is a mad or nothing. But, is a better solution to PayPal. This is a fast transaction method worldwide. But, gradually it is synonym as a currency or the coin.

Paypal is actually faster, but its fees are high as well... As of this time, I wouldn't think about transacting in Bitcoin since it obviously isn't practical.

Re: limitations to Store tokens in MEW
by
HalatSpry
on 06/04/2018, 19:15:59 UTC
As long as the tokens you are storing is an ERC20 token, you can store any amount of tokens in MyEtherWallet.
The tokens that you add in the wallet appear directly in your wallet if they get listed.
The tokens not yet listed on any exchanges can be seen through the ADD CUSTOM TOKEN option in the wallet which has no limit.

this is pretty cool.. But I wonder why Bitcoin is not used like this? Is this one of Bitcoin's limitation or simply the choice of developers?

Youtube is a great resource since we can visually learn the basics which is a lot faster than reading. Although reading about the fundamentals is still very helpful.

Mt gox is dumping all their bitcoins causing the price to crash heavily, its going to be a long time for the market to recover.

With price back under $8,000 again, it will be difficult to break newly formed resistance levels yet again without any good news.

Re: Why China is always bad news for bitcoin?
by
HalatSpry
on 03/02/2018, 15:14:59 UTC
The main reason why china is bad on bitcoin because Chinese are most intelligent so they dont want Chinese public know easy way of making money through bitcoin than Yuan depreciate so they want to protect newbies entering the market

This is one of many reasons why the Chinese govt don't like Bitcoin. Another one is the same for most 3rd World Countries that ban Bitcoin which is that it can't be taxed. No tax = no govt funds.

Very much impossible to trade without losses. Even automatic trade bots are programmed to sell should the price not go as planned. This means that the only way to trade at 100% gains each time is if someone is able to predict the future.

Although I highly doubt that Ripple will reach $5,000 so soon because of its market cap (HUGE), it's not impossible for it to reach $50-$200 by 2020.

Re: Can bitcoin be more profitable in the upcoming years?

I believe Bitcoin will continue to be profitable so long as there is high demand for it. Soon, the lightning network will be implemented on Bitcoin and will hopefully be back in business as the #1 to-go coin for micro transactions.
