Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country?

I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.
Any government who thinks about banning bitcoin or any crypto currency fear about money laundering and terrorist funding and that is what they will be focusing to tell if they want to ban them. I am not sure how these cryptocurrency is aiding you financially unless you are holding a good number of coins.

So true, that's one of the problem with gamblers when the greediness strikes you wouldn't care about how much you will lose. I still can't believe he just wasted that huge amount of bitcoin, we should have self control and discipline in gambling because it tends to be very addicting.
It is a real gamble to wage a bet of fifty bitcoin in a single bet and he was really unlucky to have lost it because it was a real upset and i never expected the opponent to win the game, there are many gamblers who wage a huge amount of money because these high rollers might have earned a huge amount of coins when the mining difficulty was low or is a miner.

Re: Investing in Bitcoin

Its  never  late  to invest, we are still part  of  the  early starter of  cryptocurrency, Thou I have some regret  because I did not get  involve early  like a friend, but it  never late, Litecoin too will definitely get increase over  time.
The price of bitcoin is extremely high to invest at the moment, wait for the market to settle down and then plan on purchasing, there is a fork coming up and no one can predict how the market will react after the fork and so you must be really careful in investing your money in it,there is nothing wrong in investing in litecoin but the issue is there is not much push in the coin after the fork .

Re: The real crash starts after Aug 1st

BTC droped to about $1800 two weeks ago, that was a fantastic buy.. this kind of dips will happen again and again, you just have to time it riht and, for example buy when it falls 20% and sell when it rises as much..
There was a circumstance when the FUD was getting into the nerves of the investors and because of these news of fork and panic we saw the price going below $1800 and the recovery was really swift within a couple of days and those who purchased the coins during that crash made a good investment,it is hard to see these kind of crashes in the future ,unless there is a flaw in the upgrade or another FUD news that would scare the investors.

Re: How the future of bitcoin will look like

After the hard fork completes and the bitcoin cash appears, I hope there will be no next hard fork, as it will inhibit the bitcoin progress. In general I'm sure the future of bitcoin will continue to improve.
There wont be anymore fork that is going to happen anytime soon,so there is nothing to be worried about that,it will take some time to start using bitcoin cash i guess because there is a limited exchanges that are accepting those coins at this moment and some of the wallets are in maintenance mode,so i expect everything to be normal in a week or two.

Ended up loosing big money today, BCC started rising like crazy, brought 37 BCC's (some @ $530 and remaining @ 0.233 BTC) on kraken.

It went all the up to $811 on kraken and now falling endlessly, $310 at the time of writing this post.

My net balance of over $23000 is down to less than half at a little over $11,000.
There is nothing you can do now,the best thing you can do is to wait for sometime and see how the values goes,if you really check the markets where they are listed, only bittrex and kraken had these mad rallies, but the rest of the exchanges had a stable price when you check coin market cap,i never sell coins at a loss, but the risk is higher here, either you can wait for a while or sell off at a loss .

Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal?
by
Harry Callahan

I think bitcoin will overcome the paypal. Because first, bitcoin is becoming more pupular. It is ver easy to use with the different kinds of transactions. Next is that bitcoin has a very good potential in the market. But it should be use all over the world before bitcoin overcome paypal.
First and foremost this is really a topic that should be trashed in the first place,Paypal and bitcoin cannot be compared as it is just a payment gateway and bitcoin is a currency and a payment gate way, with the fork that happened right now ,it will be possible for more users to send tokens at a decent fees i guess and i do have my doubts whether there will be a same issue in the future .

I had no problems with the payments a single day. I have received bitcoins and 31.07 and 01.08. I haven't seen any difference. There might be a problem with the new Alt coins of bitcoin, but they did not interest me and I'm not interested in their fate.
You could have made easy money if you were holding the coins in your wallet, you must of neglect anything, because you never know when the price will shoot exponentially in the future,so even if you are not interested in it,make sure you keep the coins and forget about it and safe guard your private keys, who knows what the price will be a couple of years from now. Re: What's going on? Bitcoin for the rich only?
by

on 02/08/2017, 21:23:47 UTC
Bitcoin is for all of us, for all the people who has want to earn bitcoin and to all the people who are interested in bitcoin. Bitcoin is not just for rich people because like me, I am not rich but I can have a bitcoin. 😁
Sure you could have bitcoin but in order to purchase that you need money . Tongue If you are planning to stock a good amount of coins,it is really not possible with the price we have right now,so basically it is for the rich who has a lot of money to invest, but for causal users, you can really use too and i guess with the  fork ,i really hope that the transaction price goes down so that even small tokens can be sent .

"For all those who buried us, I will remind you that the service has always worked on trust and we are ready to answer for it. The funds will be returned to everyone!" - BTC-e.com. Fight the tptb!!
It is encouraging words, but it is hard to believe that it is possible for them to hand out the coins with the level they are in and if they are able to give out the customers their coins then it would be great, the charges pressed against them are so huge and i really doubt he would be seeing sunlight in a very long time.

Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?
by
Harry Callahan
on 02/08/2017, 20:46:56 UTC
BTC can't be replaced, at least for now. He's like a flag, but different virtual currencies have different focuses. Like ETH smart contracts, Zec is strongly anonymous
Bitcoin wont be replaced by any other crypto currency,i do accept that and in fact ETH is not a currency but a smart contract platform, but when it comes to Zec ,i really doubt it is really an anonymous currency at all,i heard some fishy things about their vision on how to install a backdoor and so on,so i will strongly avoid the coin and try monero or dash.

If you had bitcoins stored in a local wallet on your device, then you already have it. If not than there are some exchanges that support it. People are mentioning Bittrex here and I think ViaBTC supports it as well.
Bittrex is having a very huge volume when it comes to BCH and so is the reason it is mentioned and kraken is having the second largest volume ,even if you have the coins in your wallet you cannot deposit it in these exchanges for now as they are yet to enable the deposit and withdrawal process.Just waiting for some time to see what direction it will be going.

Ok so to send bitcoin cash to an exchange will take several days? What if i pay a higher fee for faster delivery and if so how many days then?
Yes it might take several days for everything to settle down and people who held their coins in those exchanges had the opportunity to start trading and it is really disappointed for the rest of the users as to wait for everything to settle down,as the price of bitcoin cash had a really good rally for the day and i missed the opportunity.

I will be holding bitcoin cash for a long time, i am not holding that big of an amount but still i would like to hold it for a longer time and see how the price will move, who knows whether it might catch with the price of bitcoin at a later stage, its just speculation but no one knows what the price would be a few months from now,i do not mind if the price goes down because it is just a bonus.

I sold already but price went almost %40 up from where I sold. Interesting, I expected to rather quiet death but some people buy it. I don't fall for this trap though, manipulators can show all their skills but I won't buy this ever. It will be doomed to death.
I will be holding my coins for a while, lets see how things will go and then will take a decision on what to do with the coins,i am yet to understand how to transfer my coins which i am holding in my wallet,i will wait for a couple of weeks to start moving my coins as i do not want to risk anything, when everything is steady then i will start moving my coins.

Re: What do you like best about bitcoin?
by
Harry Callahan
on 30/07/2017, 22:53:16 UTC
Anonymity especially is a big attraction as privacy is a big concern with any transaction. The problem with anonimity though is that it allows for a lot of illegal things. I guess you could say it's both what I like best and least about bitcoin at the same time.
If you are looking for anonymity then bitcoin is not the coin you must be looking for, even if you are a alt coins trader,we need to provide all the identities to verify the account for bigger transactions and so the anonymity part ends there, what i like is the volatility as it will help in trading and can make bigger profits than conventional trading.

And people wonder why bitcoins gonna fork, theres corporate interests behind the basic ideologies
There is no correlation between the bitcoin fork that is going to happen and the corporate interest behind the ideologies,we just need the upgrade so that the block chain could accommodate more transaction and it is crucial for the growth of bitcoin ,there are more investors who have invested more into bitcoin than the said amount and so it is not a big surprise.

If i am having that much money  Roll Eyes i would diversify my investments rather than investing in one coins, but if i have to choose one coin then i will blindly invest in bitcoin but make sure that you are able to invest at a good price, there are other good projects and you can check them in the alt coin section, never invest everything in one project.

More analitic, number of transactions and price, the history:
zero progress for 5 years
Litecoin was not progressing for the past few years, but it all changed recently and if you check the price you could understand that,if you were able to invest in it a few months back you could have made a good profit and after the activation of segwit and i am sure it will progress further and reach new levels.
